6.1 to AM Rahane, the marriage between inside edge and stumps grows. This is good length, slanted across off stump. Rahane, so solid till now, drives on the up and away from his body. Gets an inside edge onto the stumps. 21/2
9 | 0 | 50 | 3 | 5.55 | 26 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
1.1 to RG Sharma, gone! Short of a length, wide outside off stump. Rohit looks to punch this through the off side, but it's too far away from his body. It's also come on slower than expected. Gets a nice, thick inside edge, and it clatters into the stumps. 3/1 47.5 to RA Jadeja, a tame end to a tame innings. Good length, angled across the batsman. He looks to hit this over extra cover, but it's a gentle chip that dips in front of that fielder. He leans in and takes it comfortably. 294/6 49.3 to R Ashwin, now he walks across the stumps to try and ramp one through fine leg. Hasn't gotten down on one knee and in the end he's just awkwardly poking at this as it swing in and crashes into off stump. He's disgusted with himself. 315/7

22.4 to S Dhawan, one charge too many? Dhawan uses his feet, this was speared in at his legs, cramping him for room. Dhawan was eyeing the gap between midwicket and long-on. Ends up dragging the ball into the hands of Mehedi at midwicket. 121/3 32.5 to KM Jadhav, bowled'em. Jadhav now attempts an inside-out drive over extra cover. He does not put bat on ball. Non-turning ball, angled in on middle, Jadhav backs away outside leg, connects with only thin air, success for Sunzamul. The drink will taste sweeter for him and Bangladesh. 196/4 34.6 to KD Karthik, floated nice and full at leg stump, he gets his front leg out of the way and drills this past the non-striker. Long-on runs to his left. 208/5

4.4 to Imrul Kayes, short and aimed at the helmet, he pulls the ball, but it's mistimed, finds Umesh Yadav at mid-on who runs to his left and does not let that go. Bangladesh lose their third wicket inside five overs.. 11/3 6.3 to Shakib Al Hasan, Things going gloomier for Bangladesh. The latest batsman to be bounced out is their captain Shakib. Banged in short and aimed at the chest, cramps Shakib's for room. The batsman's response is a weak pull. Flaps it into the hands of Rohit at square leg. That is the definition of a dolly catch. 21/4 6.5 to Mahmudullah, Karthik's day, however gets brighter! He grabs a one-hander. Full outswinger, curves away outside off, Mahmudullah feels for it, instead of tucking his bat inside the line. The ball grazes the outside edge, Karthik flings himself to his right and completes a smart, low catch with just one hand. The smile on Karthik's face tells the story. 21/5

3.2 to Soumya Sarkar, that's a nick, and Sarkar looks surprised. The ball swings away, arrives at the batsman just outside off stump, Sarkar slashes away from his body, the ball takes the outside edge and the wicketkeeper does the rest. Did Sarkar think he had a review for warm-up games too?. 11/1 3.5 to Sabbir Rahman, full inswinger from Umesh, the ball seemed slower than the last ball, goes between the bat-pad gap as Sabbir looks to drive that, no feet movement, Umesh gets his second of the over. 11/2 7.3 to Mosaddek Hossain, India's seamers ripping through the Bangladesh batting line-up. Good length ball, starts on middle, seams away, bounces, opens Mosaddek up and eats him up for lunch. It was just too good for the batsman. Edged to Karthik. 22/6
6 | 0 | 17 | 1 | 2.83 | 29 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 1 | |
12.4 to Mushfiqur Rahim, Mushfiq finds Jadeja at backward point. Another soft, soft dismissal. Shortish and outside off, Mushfiq carelessly cuts in the air and holes out to India's best fielder. Bangladesh seven down and sinking at The Oval. 47/7
5 | 0 | 32 | 1 | 6.40 | 20 | 5 | 0 | 4 | 0 | |
19.4 to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mehedi nicks behind. Banged in short and wide outside off, he swishes away from the body and feeds a top edge to Karthik, shoulder-high catch to his left. Bumrah enters the wickets column as well. 77/8
1.5 | 0 | 2 | 1 | 1.09 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
23.5 to Rubel Hossain, slower one, this! the batsman makes some room and looks to send the ball out of the park. It finds the outside edge of the No. 11, and second slip, Ajinkya Rahane, takes it easily to his left.. 84/10
1 | 0 | 2 | 1 | 2.00 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
22.3 to Sunzamul Islam, tossed-up offbreak outside off, breaks away, Sunzamul uses his feet. Ashwin pulled his length back. Slashed to Rohit at backward point. 83/9 |
