1.5 to J Charles, he's played that back to Bracewell, goodish length and moving away, Charles plays loosely at that one and pops a simple catch back to Bracewell who takes it to his left, New Zealand have struck early. 14/1 3.5 to AD Russell, ooh, nicely played but straight to the fielder, shuffled across did Russell and clipped it elegantly off his pads but Franklin was positioned perfectly at short fine leg, and he was able to intercept that easily and clasp it in front of his face. 36/2 17.5 to KA Pollard, Pollard goes and West Indies are in danger of being bowled out for a below-par score here, slower from Bracewell, though again it's length, Pollard had made up his mind to clear long-off but mistimed that, got a lot of height on that one and Taylor, at extra cover, took it comfortably. 133/8
4 | 0 | 21 | 3 | 5.25 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
6.2 to CH Gayle, Gayle goes, Southee gets him with a jaffa, a huge wicket, held it back just a little, slightly short of a good length on the off and it appeared to nip away, gets a faint nick as he plays for it and McCullum makes no mistake. 61/3 16.6 to DJG Sammy, Sammy picked the length early and connected well, but hit it to the fielder, slower one from Southee and short, Sammy pulls it hard but straight to deep midwicket where Franklin runs in and takes a well-judged catch leaning forward. 123/7 18.3 to SP Narine, Narine's been trying that shot each ball, the shot was probably on this time, slower one bowled short but he didn't seem to pick it, got an inside edge onto the stumps. 136/9
1.3 | 0 | 17 | 1 | 11.33 | 5 | 0 | 2 | 1 | 1 | |
19.3 to S Badree, bowled by the offcutter, the slower one again and he didn't pick it, closed the face too early and he was bowled through the gate. 139/10
4 | 0 | 24 | 1 | 6.00 | 11 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 0 | |
13.2 to D Ramdin, Hira strikes! Just a chip from Ramdin, leaned forward and pushed it uppishly towards extra cover and Taylor dived to his right to take a sharp one. 102/6
4 | 0 | 19 | 2 | 4.75 | 11 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
10.4 to MN Samuels, they've played those straight hits well but Samuels can't repeat that this time, flat from McCullum but lands on a length on middle and off, Samuels goes straight down but can't connect well enough and finds Southee in the deep, who's moved just a little to his left from long-on. 87/4 12.5 to DM Bravo, Goes round the wicket to Bravo and gets it to turn away just a hint, angles it in towards middle and Bravo tries to open the face with the turn but misses and off stump is pegged back. 98/5 |

2.2 to RJ Nicol, Rampaul strikes early! Nicol had moved well across as he tried to clip that straightish delivery over short fine, missed and I reckon he was trapped in front of middle and leg. 8/1
4 | 0 | 18 | 1 | 4.50 | 11 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
7.2 to BB McCullum, McCullum's bowled! Badree continues to bowl flat and straight, McCullum came down the track, made a bit of room for himself simultaneously and tried to whack that through cover but played over it and missed, it shot straight on to strike middle. 41/2
4 | 0 | 20 | 3 | 5.00 | 11 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 | |
12.6 to JEC Franklin, superbly caught by Gayle, it was the carrom ball, spun in from outside off and Franklin tried to open the face, got a thick edge and Gayle reacted quick, snapping a sharp catch stretching to his right and taking it one-handed. 85/4 16.4 to JDP Oram, Narine gets him with the carrom ball, that one spun in and Oram simply didn't pick it. Lands on middle and turns towards leg, Oram plants his foot forward and is rapped on the pads, the decision the umpire had to make was whether that was missing leg. He didn't think so, Oram did, but what Oram thinks doesn't matter. He has to go. 115/5 18.3 to NL McCullum, Nathan holes out, Narine picks up his third, the pressure grows on New Zealand, he had to go for it and found deep midwicket, couldn't connect as well and got more height than distance. 125/6

8.6 to MJ Guptill, New Zealand are slipping, short and wide and Guptill senses a chance but he can't keep it down, cuts that straight to point where Samuels takes it easily. 52/3
