43.5 to SK Raina, looking for the almighty heave over midwicket, but ends up top-edging this length delivery high over his head, with Mushfiqur, who called it early, having to take a few paces back before settling under it nicely. Ends an integral knock from Raina, who has really put India into a strong position here in the latter overs. 237/4
10 | 0 | 69 | 3 | 6.90 | 30 | 9 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
27.6 to AM Rahane, fuller delivery, outside off, and Rahane's struggle has come to an end as he mistimes the loft over extra-cover, with the bat turning in his hand, as the ball ends up just to the left of Shakib, who dives in the end as he claimed it. Bangladesh cock-a-hoop after that dismissal. India looking in some trouble now at 115 for 3. Hilarity ensues as Taskin and Mashrafe went for the celebratory chest-bump, which they fail on the first occassion, before trying again to save face. This time however, they both fail miserably as Taskin slips. Comical end to a key wicket there for Bangladesh. 115/3 46.6 to RG Sharma, ends the Rohit special with a full, inswinging delivery which the right-hander looked to glide away through third man as he got low. Ends up playing this one on after the ball hit the ground. Ends one of the all-time best knocks for India in a crucial World Cup match. 273/5 48.6 to MS Dhoni, looking for quick runs with a thwack through the leg side to this shortish length, but ends up getting a leading edge high over towards the cover point region, with the fielder getting under it rather comfortably in the end. 296/6

17.5 to V Kohli, Kohli is gone. Bangladesh have a big wicket here. Delivers a fullish length delivery, pitched wide outside off, as Kohli is instinctively drawn into the drive, with the ball catching the outside edge to fly over to the keeper, who is able to take a good, low catch to this right to pluck a huge, huge wicket for the Bangla tigers. There was some away shape to the ball, which also played a part in the dismissal. 79/2

16.3 to S Dhawan, comes down the track to try and drive Shakib through the covers, but the flight beats him as he went with the down swing. Mushfiqur is alert to the stumping chance as he collects this before whipping off the bails in a flash. The back foot looked like it might be dragging outside of the crease. Replays show that Dhawan indeed has his back foot outside the crease when the bails were successfully removed. Huge roar from the Bangladeshi contingent at the MCG as Shikhar is given his marching orders. 75/1 |

6.3 to Tamim Iqbal, Yadav has got his man as Tamim, chasing after this length delivery which just nips away, ends up catching the outside edge of Tamim's flashing blade, with Dhoni taking a good, low catch to his left to take it. Tamim is not convinced though as he wants the umpires to review whether this one indeed carried cleanly to the Indian captain. Shows the ball went in cleanly upon second viewing. Tamim has to go. 33/1 35.1 to Mushfiqur Rahim, it had to happen! Beware the batting Powerplay. The short ball skids onto him far too quickly for his pull, takes a leading edge while he was only midway through the stroke and simply shot straight up. Dhoni says it's mine, spreads his arms out to make sure everyone knew it and pouches it cleanly.. 139/6 44.4 to Rubel Hossain, short ball consumes Rubel as Kohli shakes his head, almost sadly. Too quick for him, too straight for him to free the arms and the top edge is safely pouched at square leg. 193/9 44.6 to Sabbir Rahman, nearly popped out, but the second grab does it. India are into the semi-finals with the 100th win under MS Dhoni. Had to be a short ball to sign things off and the top-edged pull flies to long leg. The fielder got under it, but might have been a touch nervous. Hard hands meant he nearly spilled it, but he was alert enough to grab the rebound. 193/10

16.6 to Mahmudullah, it was a short ball, it was coming in at Mahmudullah who goes for an instinctive pull. But it seems to spew off the top edge. Yet it was travelling and seemed to lob the fielder at long leg, but Dhawan has pulled off a magnificent juggling act. Admittedly the ball popped out of his hands as he went for a reverse-cup catch. But he regrouped quickly, took the second attempt but that was when his left leg was about an inch away from disturbing the rope. He knew he has to toss the ball back into the field of play. Did that so very well and then wandered back in to pick up the catch. 73/3 20.4 to Soumya Sarkar, how is that for a catch?! it's a rare sight to see Dhoni diving, but he has here and has plucked a one-handed screamer! Shami goes for another short ball bowled cross-seam, Sarkar looks for an encore of the ramp, but realises this is the slower bouncer. He does't have to pace to work with, he committed to the stroke too early and the ball simply runs off the open face. Dhoni moved to his left, dived full length and the ball somehow manages to find a seat in his left glove. 90/4
7 | 0 | 36 | 1 | 5.14 | 23 | 5 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
43.6 to Mashrafe Mortaza, they've got another, Dhoni's got another! It was full and a shade outside off, Mashrafe hurts himself by staying put outside leg stump and poking at the ball. It almost runs off the face to the keeper. 192/8

28.2 to Shakib Al Hasan, cut straight to short third man, couldn't have been an easier wicket! There was room, there was time, but there was short third man too! Shakib went on the back foot and sliced the ball from well outside off straight to Shami. 104/5 42.6 to Nasir Hossain, loops the ball up to tempt the drive, out it comes but Nasir has failed to keep it down. Nor did he place it. Picks out Ashwin at short cover. Time for the tail, time for some fun. 189/7 |
