5.50pm: So, Sarfraz has the series trophy in hand, he's just been pouring his heart out in a language I don't speak - but congrats to him and Pakistan. It's been enjoyable, as ever, but from myself and Gnasher, it's time to say g'night (or shab bakhair). We'll see you again soon... Bye!

5.40pm: Time for the presentations in Providence, starting with West Indies captain Jason Holder: "Yeah, not enough runs. We felt it was going to spin, they played the spinners well in the middle. We started well with the ball, got early wickets, put them under pressure. Credit to Malik and Hafeez, the way they played. Can't fault the pitch, one of the better ones I've seen here in a long time. We've got a few positives, Shai Hope played a good innings, but we've not been able to get over the line."

Pakistan's Shoaib Malik is named Man of the Match and Man of the Series: "I'm very happy, as a senior cricketer you have extra responsibility on you. Mohammad Hafeez set the tone and took the pressure off me, but we needed someone to finish it off. The total we had in our mind, if we keep rotating the strike it will give us something to start. I never felt any pressure, Hafeez was hitting boundaries. I would like to congratulate Sarfraz, the way he's conducting the guys and the way youngsters are responding. Winning the series is important and we had pressure on us. Congrats to West Indies, they fought well, but good to end on a winning note."

Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed: [Okay, my Urdu really isn't up to this. I think he was pleased. Apologies]

5.30pm: There was a wobble at the start but Pakistan did a decent job of knocking this one off. Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez put on 113 to paper over the deficiencies of the top three, then Sarfraz Ahmed came out and made sure they finished it off without alarm. West Indies just didn't have enough on the board, despite the efforts of Shai Hope and Jason Mohammed. It's been a competitive series but Stuart Law still has work to do to make West Indies a force again; they remain adrift of eighth place in the ICC rankings and time is running out for them to scrape automatic World Cup qualification.

Holder to Malik, SIX runs

smashed down the ground, goes all the way! That is Malik's ton and a six-wicket win for Pakistan! Does it in style, Malik secures his ninth ODI hundred as Pakistan complete a comfortable chase to seal the series 2-1

So Malik keeps the strike, four runs needed. Win it and go to his hundred with a six?

"2:10 am in Pak and I am watching live match along with one eye at cricinfo to watch Pakistan qualify for WC directly." Well, you're getting slightly ahead of yourself there, Naseer - September is the cut-off and Pakistan have to remain in the top eight until then. But winning this series would go a long way to safeguarding that

"Watching Essex vs Lancashire. Hmm so you did have the pleasure of witnessing another teenage Test batting star in making?" wonders Sjrn. "Here Malik seems like transformed into a Misbah somehow." If you're referring to Essex wunderkind Dan Lawrence - I most certainly did. He looks a splendid prospect
