With the ball crossing the boundary, the clock ticks over to 5:20pm. The Captains come together on the pitch and shakes hands. The Knights declare and the game is a draw.

A massive seventh wicket partnership between James Shannon and Graeme McCarter took the game away from the Lightning. With Shannon completing his century and finishing unbeaten on 140.

With the match ending in a draw, the Lightning get 10 points. The Knights pick up 9 points and move to the top of the Hanley IPC table.

The next match in the IPC will be in a couple of weeks when we get the return fixture between these two teams at Oak Hill ground in Wicklow.

Although we don't need to wait as long as that before the next Interprovicinal action.

Its back to T20 action on Friday. So hopefully you will join us then. Thanks for following my commentary over the last three days, this is Justin Smyth saying goodbye from Stormont.
