At the beginning of the game, the person that you would have though would have been the least likely to score the winning run was David Scanlon.

Yet a scrambled run off the last ball means that the Warriors complete a 1 wicket win over the Knights.

With the Knights taking 3 wickets in 5 balls, the game definitely seemed to swing their way. Yet a maximum from Allen and that precious last run from Scanlon mean its the Warriors that will be celebrating all the way home tonight.

With the win the Warriors get four points, the Knights get zero.

So maybe the biggest cheer of the night will be about 100 miles south of here as the Leinster Lightning are confirmed as Hanley Energy IP50 champions this year.

It might have taken a while to get going with all the rain delays. Yet I'm sure that you will agree it was worth the wait.....

The final game in this years competition will be on the 10th September when the Knights will travel down to Leinster.

So hopefully you will be able to join us then. Although there is quite a bit of domestic action before then. This Friday sees the culmination of this years IP20 competition. We will have live coverage of both games.

That just leaves me to thank you for following the commentary today. This is Justin Smyth saying goodnight from Waringstown.
