0.2 to Tamim Iqbal, what a start..... gets the ball to swing in before landing on a good length, Tamim shapes to flick it past midwicket but gets a thick inside edge onto his pads, the ball shoots up and Steyn runs forward and takes it easily. He didn't even have to reconfirm with umpire Aleem Dar. 0/1
2.3 to Junaid Siddique, Steyn removes the openers.... pitches outside off, just short of a driveable length, Junaid can't resist chasing that and ends up getting a thick outside edge and Boucher does well to dive to his left and catch it front of Smith at first slip. 3/2
54.4 to Mashrafe Mortaza, it's all over.... Mortaza attempts another slog by giving himself room outside leg, Steyn directs it at the furniture this time and pegs the leg stump back. 192/10
1324703.61577020
1325053.84556003
10.5 to Habibul Bashar, well taken by McKenzie.... pitched up outside the off stump, lures Bashar onto the drive, he gets forward but fails to cover the line and the ball catches the outside edge and shoots low to Neil McKenzie at third slip who takes it in front of him. 32/3
14.5 to Shahriar Nafees, a wicket falls just when things are looking up for the home side.... pitches on middle stump and curves away, lures Nafees onto the drive, he leans forward half heartedly and gets an outside edge to Smith at first slip who takes it at waist height. 60/4
43.2 to Shakib Al Hasan, brilliant reflexes by de Villiers.... full and wide outside the off stump, Shakib can't resist chasing it and ends up getting an outside edge which flies quickly to de Villiers who cups it at widish second slip, He takes it in front of his face. 152/7
43.3 to Mohammad Rafique, thick inside edge, unlucky for Rafique there, Morkel dishes out a quick yorker on middle stump, Rafique moves across his stumps and thuds it onto his foot, after a rather prolonged appeal umpire Bucknor raises the finger. 152/8
53.3 to Mushfiqur Rahim, that's a five-for for Morkel.... delivers a fast yorker on off stump, Rahim fails to get his bat doen on time and the ball just clips the off stump. Morkel actually appeals, without realising he actually hit the stumps. 192/9

22.5 to Mohammad Ashraful, rush of blood.... flighted outside off, lands on a fullish length, Ashraful tries to biff that past the bowler but ends up hitting it low to him, Botha takes it just inches off the ground, Ashraful is in doubt if the ball was grassed but replays show a clean catch. 82/5
42.3 to Aftab Ahmed, Aftab suddenly loses his patience.... tosses it up outside the off stump, invites Aftab to loft, he tries to cart that one over the infield on the off side but fails to clear mid-off, Ntini is right at the edge of the circle to take it. 152/6

3.5 to GC Smith, inside edge.... pitches on a good length outside the off stump, Smith shapes to drive through the line past the covers but doesn't move his feet well, he ends up getting a thick inside edge onto the base of leg stump. 12/1
5.3 to ND McKenzie, Shahadat removes the openers..... Pitches just outside the line of off stump and comes back in after pitching, McKenzie gets forward to defend but fails to cover the inward movement, the ball hits him flush in front of middle and leg and umpire Aleem Dar has a fairly straightforward decision. 19/2
52.5 to J Botha, the bowling change works..... Shahadat gets it to slant back in towards the right hander in the air, Botha gets a half stride forward to defend and gets struck on the pad, umpire Bucknor raises the finger, replays showed the ball hitting in line with leg stump so no doubt there. 156/7
54.1 to M Morkel, that's four for Shahadat and Bangladesh are rubbing it in further.... pitches on a good length outside off and kicks up, Morkel stays glued to the crease and doesn't use his feet as he sticks his bat out to steer it to the off side, a thick edge is taken easily by Rahim. 158/8
56.2 to MV Boucher, that's a five-for for Shahadat..... he gets the indrift working again, Boucher leans forward for an across the line flick but the ball strikes him on the base of the front pad pretty much in line with middle and leg, Bucknor thinks about it and raises the finger. 163/9
60.3 to DW Steyn, Six for the road for Shahadat..... he gets it to swing in sharply from outside off at good pace, Steyn doesn't get his bat down in time and the ball strikes the base of off stump. He takes 6 for 27 and leads his team off the field.. 170/10
2565522.201205001
16.2 to HM Amla, timely breakthrough for Bangladesh, Rafique pitches it on middle stump and gets it to straighten, Amla gets forward expecting it to turn but the ball catches him flush on middle stump close to the pad, umpire Bucknor is convinced. 54/3
20.4 to JH Kallis, well that wasn't entirely surprising.... Kallis exposes his stumps again in trying to punch through the off side, this time he's done in by the low bounce and the ball crashes onto the base of off stump. What a scalp and aren't Bangladesh delighted. Where on earth was Rafique all these months??. 69/4

50.1 to AB de Villiers, what a bizarre dismissal! Ashraful dishes out a rank half tracker which bounces twice to de Villiers, he stays back and pulls and gets a thick top edge which is taken easily by Ashraful. Now de Villiers believes it is a dead ball and stays at the crease. After a few anxious moments Bucknor gives him out and de Villiers walks back dumbfounded. The ball clearly bounced twice before the crease so that's why there was an element of doubt. The laws say that the ball has to bounce more than twice to deem it an illegitimate delivery. In this case, the ball bounced twice, so de Villiers had to go. Ashraful was in no doubt about the rule, he celebrated immediately.. 145/6

2.5 to Tamim Iqbal, timber.... Steyn dishes out a full and fast delivery bang on the line of off stump, Junaid is beaten for pace on the off drive and the ball goes straight through and sends the off stump back a few yards. 3/1
8.3 to Shahriar Nafees, Steyn strikes twice.... pitches on a fullish length on off stump and curves in a little after pitching, he gets a half prod forward and the ball hits him low on the front pad in front of middle and off, umpire Bucknor is convinced. 25/2
10.5 to Habibul Bashar, we have a wobble already.... pitches just outside the line of off stump and bends back in, Bashar shapes to flick it to the on side but is beaten for pace, the ball appears to strike him in line with leg stump and Bucknor reckons it was hitting. He takes his time and eventually raises his finger. 29/3
59.2 to Aftab Ahmed, an untimely double breakthrough.... Steyn pitches it outside the line of off stump and gets it to nip back in sharply, Aftab shoulders arms but the ball strikes him below the knee roll, umpire Aleem Dar reckoned that would have hit the off stump. Aftab attempted the same off Ntini a few overs back but survived that, not this time. 148/6
1643512.18783000
31.6 to Mohammad Ashraful, Ntini sets him up and succeeds, he pitches it on a fullish length outside off, Ashraful leans onto the drive, fails to get behind the line and gets a thin edge to Boucher. That was a wicket against the run of play. 85/4
1734302.52803003
1443052.14653000
58.5 to Junaid Siddique, the bowling change works....pitches on middle and leg and gets appreciable movement away from the left hander, Junaid fails to cover that movement and gets a thin edge through to Boucher. That was an excellent delivery and Junaid was a little clueless in the end. 148/5
60.6 to Mushfiqur Rahim, Bangladesh lose three in the first hour.... slides down the leg side, Rahim shapes to glance it down to fine leg and the ball brushes something before reaching Boucher who dives to his left. The South Africans are confident and umpire Bucknor is convinced. Rahimk doesn't look too happy though. Maybe he was just disappointed at getting out. 151/7
68.4 to Mohammad Rafique, timber! pitches on off stump and straightens, Rafique continues to stay rooted to his crease and is too lazy in getting his bat down, the off stump goes for a toss. 169/8
72.3 to Mashrafe Mortaza, It's that man Kallis again... He pitches it on the corridor of uncertainty outside off, gets a good bounce, Mortaza sticks his bat out and gets a thick outside edge to Smith at first slip. 181/9
72.6 to Shakib Al Hasan, Kallis takes five at the stroke of lunch.... pitches outside off and comes into the left hander, Shakib loses his patience and goes for an expansive loft over the off side and in the end gets a thick edge to Boucher. 182/10

12.1 to ND McKenzie, the drinks break does the trick.... Shahadat expectedly bowls it short, McKenzie attempts a pull but mistimes the stroke and the ball lobs to Bashar at square leg. 52/1
42.2 to JH Kallis, now that makes things a little interesting.... Shahadat bangs that in a little short, Kallis swivels and pulls, he reads the length early but fails to see that Mortaza was placed at deep backward square-leg for that stroke. He takes it and falls over to his side. 144/4
62.4 to AG Prince, loud shout for lbw and its been given! But it had pitched outside the leg stump and Prince is unlucky. It him in front of the stumps all right but the umpire Aleem Dar didn't pick up the fact that it had pitched outside leg.. 193/5

33.3 to GC Smith, pushes it flat and fast, the ball pitches just outside the line of off stump and curves back in, Smith is beaten for the extra pace as he tries to work it through the on side, the ball hits him in line with middle and Bucknor is convinced. 125/2
41.5 to HM Amla, superb reflexes! pitches outside off and skids through, Amla shapes to cut square of the wicket on the off side but gets a thick edge which zips to Junaid at first slip, the momentum pushes him back but he maintains his balance. 144/3
