10.39pm And as Sarfraz and the rest of Pakistan's squad pose for a team photo, it's time for us to say goodbye as well. It's been a long tour, but Pakistan did well to finish their trip on a high. New Zealand, though, would be pleased with their performances as well, barring the last two games. Overall, a terrific tour and an excellent series. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. We loved bringing it to all of you. For now, it's good bye from me, Sreshth Shah. Toodles!

10.32pm We're almost ready for the presentation ceremony. Shadab Khan is the Man of the Match. He says: Thanks to Allah and my parents. I enjoy playing here. Got some experience at Big Bash, so good to use that here. Our top order didn't score well in the ODIs, but they did well in the T20s, so maybe that's the difference. I enjoyed my time in New Zealand. Time for the PSL now."

Mohammad Amir is the Man of the Series. He says: "Thank you, tough tour for us, and this win is special for us, especially after the ODI series. Happy for our fans. In this format we were using our variations. Credit to team management because we've been working hard on those techniques. The ODIs didn't go well, but this series win and this award means a lot. Thanks to my family and dear Allah."

Kane Williamson, the losing captain. He says: "They were outstanding, so credit to them. They batted well, got a score that's just about par, but the way they bowled was the difference. We know T20 is a fine line, and it was close-ish, but credit to them for doing well in all facets. We need to come into grounds, identify what we want to adapt on, all in all our bowling has improved, but with the bat it's always a challenge with the run-rate going high in this format. Our fielding is something we pride ourselves on, and we do want to do better there ahead of the tri-series."

Sarfraz Ahmed, the winning captain. He says: "Credit goes to my boys. It's not easy coming back after 6-0. Just told the boys, 'nothing to lose. We're 6-0, worse case we'll be 8-0'. Fakhar was great today, and the wickets in hand helped at the end. The way Haris, Amin batted are excellent. Being No. 1 in the world is all thanks to the hard work of my team and my team management. Thank you so much to the crowd for their support."

Pide Piper: "With all visiting teams (Pak, Ind, Eng) playing much better cricket in the later part of their away serieses, there seems a need to balance the gap between home and visiting teams. May be that can be done by letting the visiting team have a wicket of its choice while the home team can still enjoy an overall better understanding of the ground as well as the home advantage."

Farooq : "Dethroning the home side from number one spot and then claiming the same spot for yourself, that's full on medieval invasion guys. All hail King Sarfraz and his army"

10.25pm Celebrations all around the Pakistan camp. Sarfraz has asked his team to gather for a huddle. They move to No. 1 on the ICC T20 rankings. The huddle ends with shouts of Pakistan zindabad!. Smiles plastered around every member of the Pakistan team. Not easy to come back from 1-0 down in New Zealand. What's most heartening for the visitors, is that they've had an excellent show with both bat and ball over the last two matches. Martin Guptill's fifty might've given them a scare for a moment, but their bowlers clawed back with some terrific line-to-line bowling. We'll be back with comments from both captains, and the Man-of-the-Match award. Rather difficult decision for the match referee.

Ramis: "Love the energy shown by Sarfaraz. Showing how much it means to him to captain his country."

hadi: "Unnoticed but Umar Amin deserves a lot of credit for his 3 sixes down the order."

Raees to Santner, FOUR runs

overpitched on middle and leg, clipped gloriously off his toes, and races away to the cow corner boundary. Hit so well that wide long on had no chance!

17.4
Raees to Santner, no run

overpitched full outside off, tries to drive this over cover but the ball goes past his outside edge. Loud appeal for caught behind, but turned down. Pakistan are reviewing. Replays suggest there's no contact, and that the noise came from bat hitting ground. We're not sure, though. The umpire is having a closer look. Remains not out.

Vaughan: "Taylor seemed pretty sure he didn't hit that, I wonder if the bat hit the ground at the same time the ball was passing, Pity there's no hotspot, that would have helped a lot there."

W
Raees to Bruce, OUT

crashes into middle stump! The bowler gives Bruce the silent treatment after knocking him over. Perfect yorker on middle stump. That's unplayable.

Tom Bruce b Rumman Raees 22 (15b 2x4 1x6) SR: 146.66

Shams Omair: "Why didn't we check for the run out though if it was a runout was it possible the two wickets would go down on the same instance?" -- because that caught behind occured before the run out attempt

17.2
4
Raees to Bruce, FOUR runs

well improvised! Full toss on middle stump that the batsman meets by shuffling across to the off side. Ramps it over the keeper's head. These shots are easy to play in 2018
