12:37pm Hello and welcome back, everyone. Big session coming up for Zimbabwe. They need to pick up a few wickets and establish a foothold in this contest. A failure to do so might result in them having to play catch-up for the rest of the Test.

12:02pm No prizes for guessing who that session belonged to. Bangladesh bossed proceedings from the first ball (quite literally), with their openers making further merry. Anamul and Shadman have now put on a 100-run partnership - the first for Bangladesh in this format since December 2022 and that has placed them perfectly at this interval.

Zimbabwe, to be blunt, have lacked ideas and imagination. Most of their bowling has been pedestrian and they have not bowled with enough discipline to create mistakes. They now have 40 minutes to regroup, reassess and revive this challenge but with the way Bangladesh are bowling, and with the way the pitch is behaving, Zimbabwe will need a stellar effort to turn things around in the second session. Join us in about 30 minutes for the start of it.

This should be the last over before lunch. Bennett to roll his arm over. Around the wicket, slip and short leg in place
