9.35 pm Perth Scorchers' opening game of the season couldn't have gone better. Their new import Ian Bell struck a half-century to lead them at the start. Mitchell Marsh and Ashton Turner provided the flourish at the end. Then with a total of 197 behind them, Mitchell Johnson (3-33), David Willey (2-15) and Jhye Richardson (2-32) made sure the Adelaide Strikers were never in the game. Brad Hodge did his best to make a game of with a fifty, but once he fell, the game was effectively over. That's all we have for you, thanks for joining our coverage. Good night.
