Massive game coming up with the Scorchers facing off against the Stars. Lot riding on that game and it could possibly decide Thunder's fate. So switch tabs and stay tuned for that match. That's it for this game. Thank you for joining us. Until next time.

So Sydney Thunder have shot up from bottom of the table straight up to fifth. Ten overs are all they needed to knock off the target. Their net run rate has obviously had a huge surge as well. But their dismal start means that despite their third successive win, their fate now does not entirely rest on their hands. Thunder's celebrations could be short-lived and they will have their eyes firmly on the next match, between Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Stars. If the Stars win, it will more or less spell the end for Thunder. The two lasting memories from this game will be Carlos Brathwaite's dabs, and Fawad Ahmed's spell. What a bowling display that was! It's not often that we get to see spin bowling of that quality in a T20 match. Fawad bowled superbly and tied up the Sixers batsmen in knots. It was always going to be hard to bounce back from 99 for 9 and the chase threw up no surprises.

Carlos Brathwaite - We started really well. We did our job pretty well and restricted them to 100-odd. We did what we had to do and now our result is left in the hands of others. We are having fun, enjoyed these two games. Just happy to be able to play my part. We feel confident, we need to take care of preparations and control what we can control, plan well and execute well. Whatever happens, happens.

Gurjot Singh: "Fawad Ahmed is seriously giving National selectors a good food for thought prior to the Indian tour! Consistent performance this BBL with quality leg spin! No wonder Steve Waugh wants him to be considered..."
