Thanks for joining us tonight. Hope you had a good time. On behalf of Nikhil Kalro, I say good night and see you tomorrow!

11.38pm The Sunrisers are doing a lap to thank their fans. This is their final home game. And while they do that, this is the qualification update: they only have Kings XI to worry about now. Delhi Daredevils are out of contention. If Sunrisers win their last game, they qualify. If they lose their next game, and Kings XI win all their remaining matches (that's three), then the Kings XI will go through.

Srivathsa: "Precisely, KXIP has to win over the Top 3 teams of the points table to become the fourth team to qualify (Provided SRH loses the next game)"

Dinesh: "isn't there Still a chance for Delhi? if SRH loose the next match and Punjab loose all their match and DD winning all 3 ?" --- No, Dinesh. Delhi can get a maximum of 14 points.

Teja Reddy: "what if Sunrisers match against GL is washed out and Kings XI win all their 3 remaining matches? who will go through?" --- It will come down to net run rate.

Dhawan: It was an important game. The plan was that I have to stay at the crease as long as possible. Moises also played a good knock. I've been feeling good. I was working on consistency when I had a few quiet months. I worked at it and all the heart I've put into it has worked out now, so I'm happy.

Shikhar Dhawan is the Man of the Match.

Warner: Everthing went to plan. Credit to the bowlers, they did the job and gave us a small total to chase. I asked one of top four to go through the end of the game and they did that. I just thought up front with their left handers and with the long boundary and breeze, I bowled Nabi. It was a bit of a hit-or-miss, but it paid off tonight. We just treat every game as a knockout game.

Nitin Kumbhar: "This is exactly what I like about Dhawan.. He reads the situation very well and takes responsibility unlike other players who believes in flashy endings even though the target is small and RR is low and while doing that give away their wickets! #Experience-Prevails! "

Mohit Shah: "Take away from this match is that RS and Dhawan .. both selected for CT17 and both got some valuable runs .. Good for Team India !!"

srini: "That's one mature innings from Dhawan given that his opening partner departed early and this win is crucial for them to be alive. Augurs well for team India as well, if he continues this."

By the way, the Delhi Daredevils cannot qualify now. They are out of playoff contention.

Rohit: The batting went wrong tonight. 138 was too less on that wicket. We knew the wicket wasn't easy but we got nowhere near a good score. Sunrisers bowled well and kept us guessing. We just wanted to try something different by batting first today, and it didn't pay off. I think batting second was much easier, but 138 is too less. If you don't take wickets, it's always going to be hard. We discussed that we need wickets in the interval, but Shikhar batted well. It's an eye-opener for us on what to do when we bat first, what to do in the first six overs and little things like that. We could be put into bat, it won't always be in our favour, so we have a lot of learning from this loss.

11.24pm Good win in the end. Traditionally a "chasing side", they felt the pinch against Rising Pune the other evening, but they've done wonderfully today. Bowled well on the pitch when it offered assistance and barely gave anything to Mumbai's batsmen. And then, a wonderful fifty from Dhawan on the day he gets faith from the national selectors. A mature innings, timed really well. Took the attack early after Warner fell, allowed Henriques to cut loose, then made sure he was there at the end. Professional from him. Mumbai didn't have enough runs.

Nitin Kumbhar: "@Faizan - Its all about choosing your battles wisely and the situation where his team was there today, it never required him hanging around with that pain! "

srini: "@Faizan: As a sportsperson, especially a professional one with abundant experience it is expected that Yuvi makes a sensible decision. It's not a situation where his team is 9 down and will lose if Yuvi doesn't come out to bat. He should have stayed back and if this injury aggravates and results into anything...it is a loss for him, SRH and team India at CT"
