Chandigarh Lions shot out Delhi Giants for 85, and chased it down with 5.1 overs to spare at the Lahari Resorts Grounds in Hyderabad. A day before their final clash against Chennai Superstars, Chandigarh's bowlers dominated after Delhi opted to bat. Love Ablish took 3 for 9, while left-arm spinner Bipul Sharma became the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with his 3 for 10 off four overs. For Delhi, wicketkeeper Dishant Yagnik top scored with 33. Asif Murtaza and Monish Mishra were the only other batsmen to reach double figures. Murtaza took two wickets in Chandigarh's chase, but opener Manish Sharma's 32 and a 21 from Bipul were enough to seal a six-wicket win.
Royal Bengal Tigers secured third place with a four-wicket win over Mumbai Champs. Batting first, Mumbai could only manage 116 for 6, with SK Narsinha scoring 35. Three of Bengal's bowlers took two wickets. Delhi too lost six wickets in reply, but 20s from opener Rajiv Kumar, Ali Hamid and Mihir Diwakar steered them to victory with one ball remaining. Legspinner Shridhar Iyer was the pick of Mumbai's bowlers, with 3 for 11 from his four overs, including a maiden.
