England have moved up to sixth place in the Wisden World Championship after today's 3-1 victory over the West Indies.
After sliding to the bottom of the table following their defeat by New Zealand this time last year, England have now reached their highest-ever position in the table. They could move into the top half if they win their two winter Test series in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the teams immediately above them in the table.
Australia are still top, as they have been since January 1997, narrowly ahead of South Africa. West Indies stay in third place but could drop below England next year.
