Former England wicketkeeper Geraint Jones has been named in the All-Stars team for the Hong Kong Sixes. He replaces Shahid Afridi who is required by Pakistan for the current one-day series against South Africa.
Jones hasn't played for England since the third Ashes Test against Australia, at Perth, last December and has slipped down the pecking order during the summer.
The All-Stars team, a new addition to the tournament this year, will also feature Brian Lara, Glenn McGrath, Craig McMillan, Anil Kumble and Heath Streak.
"Any time you have the chance to play on a team that boasts players such as Shane, Brian, Glenn and all the other guys it is very exciting," said Jones. "I cannot wait to have a crack at this style of the game alongside some of the biggest names in world cricket.
"I have had heard many great things about the Hong Kong Sixes over the years and to be finally making my first trip to play in Hong Kong is something I am looking forward to very much."
The tournament will be played on October 27 and 28 at the Kowloon Cricket Club in Hong Kong.
