Chad Keegan, the former Middlesex fast bowler, has been offered a trial with Sussex.
Keegan, who was released by Middlesex at the end of 2007, represented Sussex in the Second XI Championship last week and today made his first team debut for the club in their Friends Provident Trophy match against Surrey.
"Today is another opportunity to see what attributes Chad could bring to the squad," Mark Robinson, Sussex's professional cricket manager, said. "It's a dead match now, as we have qualified for the quarter-finals in the competition, so we will be using the match to rest a few of the regulars and also give a few of the fringe players a chance to perform."
