Lowest match aggregates for Pakistan

In the recently concluded Hamilton Test, Pakistan's match aggregate of both completed innings of 222, was the lowest after the 208 recorded against the West Indies at Lahore in 1986-87. Incidentally on seven occasions to date, Pakistan's match aggregate (for both completed innings) remained below the 300 mark. These events of batting failures included three instances against England, two against the West Indies, and one each against South Africa and New Zealand. It might appear surprising but the fact remains that despite Pakistan's batting debacles on two of the above seven occasions, Fazal Mahmood, the architect of Pakistan's six of their first eight victories, bowled his team to exciting victories (v England at the Oval - 1954 and v West Indies at Dacca 1958-59). Fazal Mahmood, on both occasions claimed twelve wickets in the match. In fact Pakistan's inaugral match total is also included in the list of lowest ever match totals.
