Ramnarine assured the players that "in addition to looking after their rights and interests, the executive would continue to participate in dealing with the challenges in the regional and international cricket arena."
Ramnarine, 33, also vowed that WIPA would continue to strengthening the club structure in the Caribbean and ensure the rounded development of players through "a well structured educational programme".
Wavell Hinds has been re-elected WIPA vice-president, Jimmy Adams will be the secretary while current Trinidad & Tobago captain Daren Ganga will assist him. Ian Bradshaw, the former fast bowler and now Barbadian accountant, will serve as treasurer.
