Karachi, Feb 5: Azhar Mahmood and Shoaib Akhtar face disciplinary
action after it was reported to the manager that they misbehaved
during the Australian tour.
Informed sources on Saturday said Azhar clashed with skipper Wasim
Akram during the second final at Sydney while Shoaib had a night-out
on the eve of the SCG game.
Sources said manager Brig (retd) Nasir informed the two players that
he would be submitting the incidents in his report with
recommendations of appropriate disciplinary action.
Azhar exchanged words with Wasim Akram after the skipper used harsh
words while instructing the allrounder to bowl at a proper line and
length. Azhar dropped two catches and was hit out for 51 runs from
seven overs at Sydney.
