Wisden's review of the first match, Bangladesh v India

15-Apr-2017
At Mirpur, February 24, 2016 (floodlit). India won by 45 runs. India 166-6 (20 overs) (R. G. Sharma 83, H. H. Pandya 31; Al-Amin Hossain 3-37); ‡Bangladesh 121-7 (20 overs) (Sabbir Rahman 44; A. Nehra 3-23). MoM: R. G. Sharma.

On a green-tinged pitch that offered plenty to the seamers - though little grip for Mustafizur's slower deliveries - Bangladesh's bowlers relinquished control, and 69 gushed from the last 30 balls. By contrast, the Indian attack stuck to their task: all enjoyed near-identical economy-rates, with four costing 23 run
