Azhar Ali continued his fine form since assuming the captaincy with his maiden ODI hundred. He put on 91 for the first wicket with debutant Sami Aslam, a 19-year-old left-hander, and 98 for the third with Haris Sohail - but the last seven wickets could scrape together only 47. Tamim was on song again, although he was outdone by Soumya Sarkar, another left-hander, whose 127* - also a maiden ODI hundred - included six sixes. They put on 145 for the first wicket in 25.3 overs to hasten the whitewash.
