Overall Format of Ticket to South Africa

This Contest gives the participants a chance to visit South Africa during the India tour of South Africa. The contestants will be required to share videos on Facebook once the Contest opens. ESPN facilitation team to plan contest for South Africa Tourism, ESPN team shall assist in arranging process to choose 2 winners of the contest based on the video post who will receive an all-expense paid trip to South Africa and also experience the final match of the India vs. South Africa series. They will get an opportunity to Video Blog from South Africa describing their journey in South Africa. The Video Blog would be shared on ESPN social media assets and ESPN platform in India & Tourism South Africa social media assets

Eligibility

Entry to the Contest is open for all but only residents of India aged 18 years or over at the date of entry are eligible for prizes. Employees of ESPN, their associated, affiliated and subsidiary companies and their families, agents, the Contest sponsors, and any person connected with the Contest are excluded from winning a prize. By taking part in the Promotion, participants warrant that all information submitted by them is true, accurate and complete. Proof of age will be required. The eligibility of any entrant is at the sole discretion of ESPN. This Offer/Contest is void where prohibited. Participants need to have a valid Indian passport with at least 6 months (six months) validity from the date of submission of entry. Entries made between 4th Jan 2018 and 28th Jan 2018 will only be eligible for evaluation. No purchase necessary to participate in the Contest.

How to enter

Participants must login to their Facebook account, or register an account, to enter the contest.

• To participate in the #TICKETTOSOUTHAFRICA contest, participants need to post a VIDEO of them explaining why they deserve a Ticket to South Africa.
• Participants to give a caption to the VIDEO highlighting the content of the video
• Share it on Facebook with the hashtag: #TICKETTOSOUTHAFRICA with the post being PUBLIC to be eligible for the Contest.
• Entry to start from 13th Jan and closes on 28th Jan

For online entries or online public voting: ESPN cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the website and is not responsible for any disruption to the competition or the website due to technical problems or otherwise due to events outside of its reasonable control. In the event of technical problems, entries or votes will be void and the winner will be selected by a panel of judges. ESPN is helping in facilitation of this competition as per directions of South Africa Tourism in good faith but, to the fullest extent allowed by law, accepts no responsibility for loss or damages as a result of anyone participating in the competition or any aspect of any prize awarded. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Facebook’s Liability

The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Facebook. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this promotion will be directed to ESPN. By taking part in the Contest and/or accepting any Prize, You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Facebook from any claims arising from the administration of this promotion. Any liability incurred by Facebook shall be governed by, and limited to, the applicable provisions of the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities.

Twitter’s Liability:

The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Twitter. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this promotion will be directed to ESPN. By taking part in the Contest and/or accepting any Prize, You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Twitter Inc. from any claims arising from the administration of this promotion.

Winner Announcement

Winners shall be announced on 5 February 2018. The final winner selection is at the sole discretion of ESPN facilitation team and South Africa Tourism and their decision shall be considered final.

Prize Details

There will be two grand prize winners who will bag an international trip for one. Travel dates will be 22 February to 26 February. These dates are subject to change as per availability of tickets. The prize details are as below:

• Round trip ticket to South Africa
• Hotel Stay
• Match tickets to India vs. South Africa final

Winners may be required to sign a prize acceptance and travel waiver form prior to awarding any Prize. Also, details including and not limited to Age, Email & phone number need to be provided to the ESPN team within 2 days of request to be eligible for the prize. Prizes won cannot be exchanged, transferred or substituted. The prizes cannot be changed or redeemed for cash.

Cancellation or Disqualification

ESPN reserves the right to disqualify:

• Late, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, lost, illegible or invalid entries.
• Entries where appropriate parental authorization is or was not provided.
• Entries where entrants or parents, without ESPN’s prior written consent, publicizes (including, without limitation publication on blogs and social networks) or discusses with any third party any information relating to the competition (including without limitation information in relation to the competition or ESPN), except where such information is already public knowledge.
• Where requested, entrants who fail to disclose in writing full details of any and all criminal or civil proceedings/actions pending, proceedings served and/or convictions unspent as at the date of opening of the competition; or
• Entrants whose conduct (and/or whose Parent’s conduct) during the competition may bring ESPN into disrepute (as ESPN may decide in its discretion).
• In case of VISA issues ESPN shall not be held responsible under any circumstances and the winner will have to forfeit their winnings

ESPN reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the contest or extend or resume the entry period or disqualify any participant at any time without giving advance notice and will do so if it cannot be guaranteed that the competition can be carried out fairly or correctly for technical, legal or other reasons or if ESPN suspects that any person has been manipulating entries or the results, or has provided false information or has acted unethically in any other way. ESPN has the sole right to suspend, postpone, cease, close or terminate the competition at any given point of time at its sole option and discretion. ESPN shall in no way be liable for any mishap/accident that may take place during the travel duration.

Email Safety

In the event that ESPN wishes to contact you (or a winner’s parent or guardian) in connection with your entry we will do so via an email ending in 'ESPN.com' or by phone with a follow up e-mail. Any email which appears to come from ESPN but using a different ending (e.g. hotmail.com, yahoo.com etc.) should be treated with suspicion and forwarded to ESPN. DO NOT respond or act on any e-mail if you are not sure that it comes from ESPN. If you are in any doubt please contact ESPN.

Publicity

Winners may be required to participate in reasonable related publicity without further payment or permission. As a condition of being awarded a Prize, except where prohibited by law, you agree that ESPN may publish first name, surname initial, age, town/city and/or likeness, without limitation, for promotional purposes.

Prize Fulfillment

Winners will be notified within 14 days of the Closing Date by email and/or by telephone. Prizes must be accepted within 14 days of notification. To claim the Prize, winners should follow the instructions contained in their notification. Winners will receive Prizes within 21 days of acceptance. All Prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). In the event any of the Winners do not accept or agree to the terms as stated herein, the Prize shall remain with ESPN who at its sole discretion may offer the same to the next eligible winner. Winners shall be solely responsible for any and all costs associated with collection and/or delivery of the Prize.

Personal Data

At your option, You (and if you are a minor, your parents or legal guardian) hereby authorize and consent to the use of your personal and/or sensitive information (Data) by ESPN including its affiliates, agents, advisors or subcontractors (Authorized Entities), for such lawful purposes as may be deemed necessary including for distribution of any prize to You, if applicable, pursuant to these all the Terms and Conditions.  You understand and acknowledge that (i) the Data is Your personal or sensitive personal information as understood within the meaning of the applicable laws; (ii) You have voluntarily and at Your option, agreed to provide the Data to the Authorized Entities for such lawful purposes as may be deemed necessary pursuant to all these Terms & Conditions; and (iii) the Data will or may be transferred by the Authorized Entities including its affiliates, agents or subcontractors, for such lawful purposes as may be deemed necessary pursuant to these Terms & Conditions.

Filming

If filming is required the winners may be asked to consent to filming a television and/or website appearance in relation to the prize (the "Contribution") and in such event the winner shall consent to the recording and/or broadcasting of the Contribution and the winner’s Parent or legal guardian, on behalf of the winner, shall assign to ESPN all rights of whatsoever nature, including all copyright in respect of the Contribution and grant all further consents or licenses necessary to enable the fullest use of the Contribution throughout the universe in perpetuity by any and all means in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter developed, without liability or acknowledgement. If a child is to be filmed ESPN will work with winner’s parent or guardian to arrange a child license for the child from their local authority (if required).

Tax Liability and Miscellaneous Charges Liability

The winners are responsible for any tax liability by India or South Africa Tourism towards fulfillment of winning gratification in any form – Visa, Stay, local travel, food etc. and responsible to abide by legal and statutory laws prevailing then or later after completion of contest. ESPN facilitation team and South Africa Tourism are not responsible for the same

South African Tourism Contest Additional Terms and Conditions

ESPN reserves the right to disqualify:

1. The Ticket to South Africa contest (“Contest”) is organized and conducted by the South African Tourism Board, a statutory entity established in terms of the Tourism Act, 2014 (Act No. 3 of 2014) as amended (“SAT”).
2. The Contest shall run from the 13th Day of January 2018 to the 28th Day of January 2018. The closing date for an entry is 24:00 hrs.(time) on the 28th Day of January, 2018. All entries must be submitted before the closing date. Incomplete or late entries will be subjected to disqualification.
3. By participating in the competition, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Terms and Conditions, which are final and binding. To enter, complete and submit the entry form.
4. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age or older
5. Entrants must be Indian passport holders; passport needs to have minimum 6 months validity
6. Entrants must pursue visa process through ESPN Team – South African Tourism and ESPN has no control over the visa procedure and whether applicants receive a visa
7. Winners need to sign South African Tourism’s and ESPN Indemnity Form
8. By accepting the prize, winners declare that they are fit to travel
9. Participants are allowed to submit only one (1) entry each.
10. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. SAT will not be held responsible for the accuracy of the information to be provided by the entrants whether due to technical or human error. SAT will not also be held responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected or postage due mail entries.
11. Employees of South African Tourism are not eligible to participate in this contest.
12. There shall be one (1) winner of the grand prize: International Trip for One [specify]
13. Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the closing date. SAT’s decision on the winner shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained.
14. The winner will be notified by email or telephone following the selection of announcement of the winner on [5th February, 2018].
15. Prizes are not transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted. The winner shall release form, and indemnify SAT and its representatives against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise
16. If the winner fails to collect the prize by the deadline, the winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize, and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances. In such event, SAT or ESPN shall be entitled to redistribute the unclaimed prize to the pool of reserve winners at its sole and absolute discretion.
17. During collection of the prize, the winner shall be required to collect and receive the price in personal and will be required to produce original proof of identity.
18. South African Tourism reserves the right to use the names, pictures, photographs or likeness of any participant or winner in its marketing, publicity or promotional materials at South African Tourism’s sole discretion without notice to the participant of winner.
19. Winners are required to share information on all allergies, religious and other dietary requirements, health concerns/problems and ailments to SA Tourism beforehand. Any problems occurring due to nondisclosure will be the participants’ own responsibility
20. ESPN will host all meals, activities and transfers as listed in the itinerary. Any meals, activities and transfers undertaken outside the scope of the itinerary are at the participants’ own cost
21. Mini-bar, laundry, tips, in-room dining, spa and any other hotel services not specified in the itinerary are at the participants’ own cost
22. On-time, positive participation in all activities detailed in itinerary are compulsory
23. SAT and ESPN reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time
