0.3 to MS Wade, this one's short of a length, and Wade smears it straight to midwicket! Sharp catch from teenager Fraser-McGurk, and the Renegades are off to the perfect start. 0/1 3.2 to DJM Short, and it only gets better for Topley! Short tried to nudge it into the onside but finds it only takes his top edge and sails high into the air. Wicketkeeper Sam Harper's composed as he gets underneath it and collects comfortably.. 17/2

8.5 to HC Brook, long hop, but Brook's luck is such he sends it straight down Harvey's throat at deep midwicket. Maddinson had built up the pressure through a tight over, one that he raced through, and it's brought its rewards. 52/3

17.4 to PSP Handscomb, the Renegades finally pick up a wicket. Holes out to Kane Richardson at long-on, who takes a sharp catch diving forward. 167/4 |

13.1 to JA Prestwidge, Gone! A bit too easy, this. Low full toss, scooped straight to Harry Brooks.. 109/9

1.1 to AJ Finch, and Finch falls cheaply! Tame dismissal, just scooped to short extra and that does take the wind out of any positivity they generated in that first over. 19/1 3.2 to NJ Maddinson, gets a thick edge that carries straight to third man. The captain falls, and the Hurricanes grip on this contest tightens. 30/2 3.4 to MW Harvey, well, what happened there?! Glorious delivery. Banged in at pace and shaping away. Little Harvey could do about it, and it was edged to first slip, where Handscomb spilled a difficult chance. But it scoops up and Meredith dives forward to claim it before it touches the turf. 31/3

7.2 to J Fraser-McGurk, Fraser McGurk falls trying to force the issue. Dances down the ground and, even though he didn't get to the pitch of the ball, tried to heave it over the long straight boundary. Short had a simple catch and he makes no mistake. 69/4 7.6 to Mohammad Nabi, it's two in the over for the Nepalese, and Nabi is incandescent with himself. It's similar to the Fraser-McGurk dismissal, with Nabi targeting that long boundary, only to find Short stationed in position once more.. 73/5 15.5 to Zahir Khan, that's it! Zahir skips down the track, and misses. That sets up an easy stumping, and the Melbourne Renegades are done for. 121/10

12.3 to KW Richardson, edged, and Handsomb collects at first slip! Richardson looked to defend, got an outside edge that went straight to Handsomb, and he falls for a golden duck. 103/8 |
