0.1 to HG Munsey, chop on! On a fourth stump line on a good length, Munsey cramped for room trying to cut with no footwork, bottom edge dragged onto the stumps. Trumpelmann goes berserk. High fives in the crowd from papa Francois Erasmus with the other Namibian parents.. 0/1 0.3 to CS MacLeod, the Trump card is being played to perfection by Namibia! In the fourth stump channel at 131 kph back of a length, MacLeod pushes with hard hands at this as the ball angles across him and gets a thin edge through to Green. Peach of a delivery. Namibia carrying on where they left off against Ireland.. 2/2 0.4 to RD Berrington, full and straight inswinger, given out after a long long ponder. Berrington thinks just as long before going for the review. He was hit on the knee roll in front of leg stump prodding down the wrong line. Only doubt was whether it was missing leg stump or clipping. Definitely pitched in line. The umpire's call stands on field as it was shaving leg stump. Trumpelmann has been getting big swing all over, and that time it was too much for Berrington but not too much to miss the sticks. What an over!. 2/3

11.1 to MH Cross, knocks over off stump! Looked like a cutter at 123kmh from outside off, jagged back in towards off and it beat Cross' attacking cut. 57/5 18.1 to MRJ Watt, 118kmh, slower balls continue and he holes out to long-on. They have to go for the big shots now, this one was pitched up but with no real pace and he swings it down to long-on. 99/7
4 | 0 | 20 | 1 | 5.00 | 11 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
16.2 to MA Leask, all over off and middle stump! A brave and terrific innings from Leask comes to and end when his team had seen a collapse. He goes a long way across to swipe the ball away and exposes all his stumps. Misses it completely and the ball rams into the stumps. 93/6
4 | 0 | 22 | 1 | 5.50 | 11 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
5.3 to CD Wallace, back of a length pings Wallace on middle and off going back deep in his crease to a 134 kph delivery. Big shout for lbw and upheld right away by Rod Tucker. Wallace asks Cross for his thoughts on using a review but they decide against it despite having two left. It was identical to the previous ball that sawed him in two but kept a touch low and pinged him just on the knee roll. At worst that was umpire's call but more likely would've been three reds had they sent it upstairs.. 18/4

18.4 to JN Frylinck, full toss is struck straight to midwicket! The fans were waiting, the ball is a full toss, he can slam it over the fielders in the circle, he can finish the game but all he does is swing it straight to the fielder. 109/6

5.3 to M van Lingen, back of a length on middle, goes to pull over midwicket but gets a thick top/leading edge over cover and Berrington pouches it on the ring.. 28/1

9.1 to ZE Green, flighted full on fourth stump, charges this but the googly produces a skier with his slog aimed for long-on. It flies high toward Munsey at long-off, who ranges 15 yards right and takes a catch tumbling forward and to his right to cushion the ball coming back to earth.. 50/2
4 | 0 | 22 | 1 | 5.50 | 12 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
12.3 to CG Williams, what's happened here, he's stumped down the leg side! Williams comes down to take it on the full and Watt fires in this one down the leg side, and the keeper takes the bails off, which Williams watches as he turns back after missing the flick. The umpire's check if there was an edge but looks like there was only pad. 67/4
2 | 0 | 12 | 2 | 6.00 | 6 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
11.2 to MG Erasmus, sneaks it through the gate! The keeper sprints to the bowler, the bowler roars and looks to the sky in celebration. Teasing length on middle and leg that drew Erasmus forward, and he drove towards the covers with a fair bit of gap between bat and pad, and the ball turned in just enough to knock over the top of leg stump. 61/3 17.4 to D Wiese, he charges again, gets a leading edge and he's caught at short third man! Is there another twist left? This is smart and confident bowling. After the six, he doesn't change the field and bowls one around leg which isn't full enough for a swing down the ground. But Wiese goes after it and it's a comfortable catch for short third man. 102/5 |
