4.4 to M van Lingen, taken at mid-off! Short and rising outside off, but coming in with the angle from Bumrah around the wicket. He wants to flat-bat this over mid-off but ends up slicing it. 33/1 18.5 to D Wiese, slower ball does it. Wiese was taking a few steps down the track, but Bumrah not only yorks him again, but also with pace off. Wiese too early into his chip, goes off the toe end for a simple catch to extra cover. 117/8

9.1 to JN Loftie-Eaton, straight to Rohit at slip. This is tossed up nicely outside off from around the wicket, pitching at a length and turning away. Some extra bounce too. Nicol Loftie-Eaton has a cut at that and gets a thick edge that goes loopily to Rohit. 47/4 12.3 to MG Erasmus, and he's been caught behind. Don't think the length was there to cut, but that's the shot he went for, seemed to skid onto him a bit outside off and he gets a thin edge that sticks in Pant's gloves.. 72/5 15.4 to ZE Green, castled. Lovely loop and turn on it, classic offspinner's dismissal. He's drawn half forward, the ball loops and dips on him like a sine curve, pitches and turns past the bat to hit stumps. 94/7

5.3 to CG Williams, got him by a long way. Good length, flat, landing well before Williams can come anywhere close to the pitch of it after stepping out. It grips and turns away too as Williams has an ungainly swish at this. Pant gathers and takes a pause before flicking the bails off. 34/2 7.4 to SJ Baard, big appeal for lbw and it is given. 14.6 to JJ Smit, super catch by Rohit at cover. Got him driving early by slowing it up a bit and giving it a bit of air, Smit can't time the shot at all. Ball's dying on Rohit but he dives forward and to his right to pluck it. 93/6

9.5 to RG Sharma, they have him at last. Full slower ball outside off, shuffles to get in line and looks for the old-fashioned slog over deep midwicket. The ball sticks in the pitch and straightens a touch and that is enough to induce the top edge. Hangs high in the point region and Green settles under it to complete the catch. 86/1
