43.5 to HM Nicholls, Nicholls is cleaned up by a slower length ball that hits off stump! He tried to slog sweep it but missed, the bowler's delighted. Nicholls has to walk back without the hundo, but that knock has kept 350 a practical possibility.. 296/5

9.2 to FH Allen, chest-hunting short ball from Little and he has Allen holing out. Allen swivels on the back foot and pulls it straight into the lap of Dockrell at long leg. He doesn't get enough elevation and his innings has been cut short at 33. 78/1 47.4 to GD Phillips, Excellent catch by Campher at deep cover! It was on a length outside off, Phillips charged down and tried to slap it either in front of cover or go over him but it was close enough for Campher. who ran diagonally to his right and slid to take it low down while on the move.. 341/6

23.1 to TWM Latham, Campher bounces out Latham. Bursts up from a back of a length or rather a length. The line is just outside off, catching Latham in a tangle. The ball takes the outside edge near the shoulder of the bat and lobs up to backward point. 146/3
7 | 0 | 50 | 1 | 7.14 | 16 | 6 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
37.3 to MJ Guptill, Pinned in front, finger goes up. Guptill turns and walks! It was tossed up on a full length, it came to middle and off, Guptill heaved aiming for a slog sweep but missed. It looked straight and Guptill did not bother reviewing it. Nonetheless, he's played brilliantly and leaves to a standing ovation from his team-mates. Ball tracking shows three reds as the ball was hitting middle and leg.. 242/4 |

1.6 to A Balbirnie, Henry spins around for an lbw appeal and umpire Black raises his finger. Nice and full, angling in from over the wicket, nipping in further off the surface. Balbirnie falls over the leg side flick and is pinned in front of middle. Pretty plumb. 7/1 9.4 to AR McBrine, Henry draws a leading edge that carries to point. Full and holds its line on middle, McBrine eyes up the leg side but closes the bat-face a bit early. Young holds onto the resultant leading edge at point. 62/2 34.4 to PR Stirling, Clobbered and Stirling finds deep-midwicket! He's distraught as he walks back. The fans duly appreciate it and he acknowledges them with raises of the bat. A couple of New Zealanders congratulated him but his party's done. The ball was a half-tracker that sat up and deserved to be whacked over midwicket, which is what Stirling tried but the Phillips, one of the safest fielders, took it to his left.. 241/3 48.3 to GH Dockrell, Dockrell holes out to long-on! It was full on leg, it was a slot ball. Dockrell whacked it but the bat turned in the hand and Bracewell took it with fingers pointing up.. 348/8

39.4 to C Campher, Top-edged and it's taken by Tickner! It was on the fuller side of the good length just outside off, Campher tried to heave it over deep-midwicket but managed to only sky it. The bowler ran diagonally to his left and took an easy catch. New Zealand have picked three wickets in the last five which has put the game back in the balance if not in the visitor's favour.. 278/5

38.4 to GJ Delany, One-handed stunner by Guptill at cover! This was a tossed up on a length outside off and Delany slapped it; the contact point was low, close to the toe of the bat. Guptill leapt to his right and plucked it with one hand. Delany's played his part but the game is open again.. 271/4 43.3 to HT Tector, Knocked him over! Tector premeditated the reverse again, Santner let go this time. The full ball goes past the left of Tector and makes contact with the stumps. It went under the bat and Santner punches the air in delight. He receives a big ovation from everyone at the ground.. 310/6 45.3 to LJ Tucker, Pulled and it balloons to short fine leg! It was slow and short, Tucker swiveled his bat around swiftly but it took the top-edge and went low to the fielder who took it well. Silence at Malahide as Santner picks up three.. 320/7
