17.2 to P Nissanka, the tormentor is finally gone! The end of one of the exceptional LPL innings. This is a slower one, fullish, outside off. This time Nissanka stays near the sutmps and tries to slog sweep that , but it hits the top half of the bat and flies high into the air. Wide long on runs forward and pouches it safely.. 202/3 19.4 to Azmatullah Omarzai, outside edge, tracked down by the backward point fielder and Kavindu Pathiratne - who weirdly has not been bowled at all in this innings - has trekked back and got under it. This was a slower length ball on the stumps that Omarzai tried to whip through leg. 222/6 19.5 to W Sahan, a drag on! This is a slower ball, wide of off, Wanuja Sahan tries to club this to the legside, but only gets an under edge that rattles the base of off stump.. 223/7 | ||||||||||

18.1 to KIC Asalanka, low full toss to start the over, and Chameera gets a wicket with it. This was almost a yorker, and Asalanka tried to loft that into the sightscreen. Gets it just on the outside half of the bat and slices it a bit, though, so Andre Fletcher at long off can come in and get under it. 205/4 18.4 to WIA Fernando, Chameera gets his revenge, though! This is a fast yorker, perfectly in the blockhole, and again Avishka is trying to squeeze this through point, but misses. Crashes into middle and off instead. 10.3 to BKG Mendis, fired through and has Mendis got Mendis? He's given out! Kusal tries to sweep and misses, it hits him on the back pad. There's no doubt that this is hitting the stumps, but has it hit Kusal outside the line? Ball tracker says umpire's call on impact, so Mendis has to go. He's been part of a rapid 112-run stand, but has contributed only 26 off 22 to it.. 112/1 14.6 to RR Rossouw, a brave slower ball, and Ramesh Mendis gets his reward!. This is lovely spin bowling on a very flat track. This is tossed up just outside off, but there's a little drift on this ball, and it pitches tighter into the stumps than Rossouw anticipates. He has committed to a cut shot though. and it takes the under edge and cannons into the stumps. Much needed break from the mayhem for Falcons.. 162/2 | ||||||||||
