A new high for Nazir

Pakistan's comfortable victory against Zimbabwe in Jamaica ensured that Inzamam-ul-Haq ended his ODI career with a victory, even if it was after two disastrous defeats. Cricinfo looks at the stats highlights from the 93-run win.

Inzamam-ul-Haq finished his ODI career with a tally of 11,739 runs, second only to Sachin Tendulkar's 14, 847. The 83 half-centuries he scored is the highest by any batsman, with Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid in second place on 77. (Click here for the top run-getters in ODIs.)

Pakistan's total of 349 is their highest score in World Cup. This is the third time they scored more than 300 in a World Cup game. The previous two instances were achieved in 60-overs game.

Imran Nazir's 160 is the highest score by a Pakistan batsman in the World Cup. It's the eighth-highest score by any batsman in World Cups. He reached his century in 95 balls, which is also the fastest by a Pakistan batsman in World Cups.

In his 160 Nazir hit eight sixes, thereby equalling Ricky Ponting's record for the most number of sixes in a World Cup innings. Ponting achieved the feat against India in the 2003 World Cup final at Johannesburg.

When he bowled Gary Brent, Shahid Afridi became the sixth Pakistan bowler to take 200 Wickets in ODIs.

Zimbabwe's 99 was their lowest score in World cups. Their previous lowest of 123 was also against Pakistan at The Oval in the 1999 World Cup.

This match provided the ninth instance in which a team scored fewer runs that the highest scorer in the opposition line-up.

Pakistan became the first country to be bowled out after scoring 300-plus runs in a World Cup match.
