'I'm just enjoying my golf, just relaxing out here.'
These were the words from former West Indies cricket captain Brian
Lara after he had another satisfying day on the scenic Royal
Westmoreland Golf Course in St. James yesterday.
The Trinidadian left-hander, who plays golf right-handed, mingled with
old friends and met a few new mates as he and over 100 other players
contested Day 2 of the Royal Westmoreland Barbados Open 2000 Pro-Am
tournament.
He was smiling from ear to ear and looked truly like a man at ease. He
proved this by hitting a six-under-par 66 for the second straight day.
'I'm just taking it easy away from everything; nothing about cricket,'
Lara said, flashing his smile.
