Overseas signing Paul Reiffel's home debut for the table-topping Notts Outlaws looks likely to see him go head to head with England skipper Nasser Hussain - and cricket fans can see it for free.
Thanks to Norwich Union's "Amazing Free Day Out" scheme, there will be no charge for entry to all National Cricket League matches on June 24 and 25.
So, when the promotion-chasing Notts Outlaws face the Essex Eagles on Saturday at 1.05pm, the gates at Trent Bridge will be thrown open to all-comers.
Spectators will have access to all areas of the ground except the pavilion, which will be reserved for members as normal.
Norwich Union's NCL spokesman Bill Reynolds said: "Working with the ECB and the counties involved, we have provided an opportunity for families to have a day out courtesy of Norwich Union which we hope will lead to many of them coming back for more.
"We would like to see thousands take up the offer, some to see cricket for the first time at this level and others to rediscover our national summer sport.
"Everyone stands to benefit, including the players, who always respond to the atmosphere generated by bigger crowds."
ECB Marketing Director Terry Blake added: "This is a unique opportunity to come and watch high quality professional cricket for free.
"We certainly urge those who have never before seen cricket played at this level to come to a game and experience the special atmosphere of these Norwich Union NCL matches.
"Coloured clothing, on-pitch entertainment, competitions and prizes, not to mention the cricket will make it a great day out."
As well as the chance to see Essex stars like Hussain, Ronnie Irani and Australian Stuart Law, Reiffel is lined up to start for Notts along with England wicketkeeper Chris Read and the NCL¹s current Player of the month, Paul Franks.
Franks was awarded the title for making 70 runs without being dismissed in the Outlaws four games and taking 11 wickets at an average of just 11.2.
