9.20pm: We've had a thriller, for the second time today - and a one-run win for the second time today. The home support won't be so happy about this one, having seen Originals snatch defeat from the jaws of victory: they needed two from three, only for Jordan Thompson to produce two dots, a run-out and a wicket from the final ball. Phew!

This is from our stats man, Sampath: "The Hundred had not seen a 1-run win margin before today across men's and women's comps. Both got their first on same day."

Tom Banton is the Match Hero: [Feeling?] "Very up and down. They played well to get to a close ending. That's what the Hundred's about, good game. [Form] My job is to put bowlers under pressure. When they're in my scoring zones I try to take it to them. At the start of the comp we talked about qualifying, two from two is a great start."

And here is Trent Rockets captain Lewis Gregory: [How?] "Not quite sure. We've got a brilliant attack. Was trying to hold a bit back to the end and push the button at the right time. We knew what ball we were trying to bowl, pace off worked well. About getting hard revs on it and thankfully it worked. Last year we were on the wrong side of a couple. We've got 11, 12, 13 guys that can win game of cricket. Weren't at our best but got there. [Fielding] Every run counts, don't think we missed a chance."

Okay, that was fun. See you tomorrow for Superchargers against Brave from Headingley. Bye!

Thompson to Holden, OUT

bounces him out, Rockets win off the final ball! Holden takes on the shot but top-edges it down the throat of deep backward square leg! The home crowd is silenced, Originals have their heads in hands. A game that swung this way and that is burgled by the visitors at the last. Thompson the hero, he's earned his Skips tonight!

Scott Currie walks out, but Holden will be on strike for the last ball

99
W
Thompson to Raza, OUT

clubs the slower ball to midwicket, Raza runs in desperation and should be out... Thompson collects the throw and smashes the stumps! He dropped the ball in the process but had it in control when the bails lit up! A dot and a wicket, and Rockets can still win this!

Sikandar Raza run out (Gregory/Thompson) 21 (12b 1x4 1x6 13m) SR: 175

95
4
Cook to Raza, FOUR runs

slower ball down leg, helped away! Raza is on his backside but he's done the needful, swatting up and over short fine leg

94
1
Cook to Holden, 1 run

pace off wide of the stumps, Holden swings and misses but they run anyway. Direct hit from Banton would have run out Raza!

93
1
Cook to Raza, 1 run

full toss, 82mph and jabbed, straight to backward point for a single

92
6
Cook to Raza, SIX runs

honked into the stands! The Originals crowd loving it as Raza skips down and mullers a six over deep midwicket! Brings the equation firmly in the home side's favour

91
Cook to Raza, no run

slower ball on fourth stump, kicks up past the bat as Raza looks to dab at it late

Cook for his final five

Last two sets, 18 needed. Very similar to the women's game earlier. Who's going to blink?

86

slower ball, finds the edge as Holden swipes... lands just in front of the diving short third!

Thompson now, 24 from 15

Jamie Dow: "@Ali, I think the possibility of a bowler bowling 2 consecutive sets is perhaps the single best tactics innovation in The Hundred. It creates brilliant jeopardy where the bowling side can try to pressurise the batters if a bowler has bowled a really good set of 5 by keeping them going. I'm not much into other white-ball cricket, but I find The Hundred just has something a bit different."
