4.3 to Tamim Iqbal, full, wide, 400! That was a loose shot from Tamim, chasing at it a long way from his body with an angled bat, and the top-edge goes to first slip at chest height. Amla wraps his hands around the ball, and Steyn becomes the second South African to get to the landmark, after Shaun Pollock. Joint second-fastest in terms of Test matches, alongside Richard Hadlee and behind Muttiah Muralitharan, to the mark, and fastest in terms of balls.. 12/1 62.4 to Mahmudullah, and he's struck! It's full and straight, homing in on the stumps with a bit of reverse. Not as full as Mahmudullah thought it was, maybe. Went for the flick, hit it uppishly, and hit it straight to short midwicket. 180/4 88.1 to Mohammad Shahid, gone, gone. That was a length ball, homing in on the top of off stump. Shahid made room to carve through the off side, and missed by a long way. The bails go flying, and that's the end of the day's play. 246/8

87.1 to Shakib Al Hasan, he certainly can, and that's a super delivery. Back of a length, and it swerves from leg stump to off stump, with extra bounce, opened Shakib up as he tried to defend on the hop, and the ball popped up off his outside edge and Elgar took it very well, diving to his left from gully. 245/7

74.1 to Mushfiqur Rahim, got him, or has he? That's a beautiful delivery from Elgar, loop and dip outside off as he presses forward to defend. Turns away sharply, bounces steeply, and kisses his glove - or does it? - on its way through to the keeper. Given out, the umpire raises his finger immediately. Mushfiqur reviews at once. There's a tiny spike on Snicko, but that could be the bottom of his bat jamming into the ground. Bat on ground and (possibly) ball on glove were nearly simultaneous. Hard to say if there's any evidence to say he's out, for sure, but there doesn't seem to be too much evidence to overrule the on-field call either. Given out. Up goes the finger again, and Mushfiqur is shaking his head as he walks off.. 215/5
15 | 4 | 27 | 3 | 1.80 | 68 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
31.4 to Mominul Haque, got him! Trying to be too cute, Mominul, leans back and tries to play a late dab. Too close to off stump, perhaps, keeps going with the angle, and some extra bounce too to kiss his outside edge and that's a superb catch from Vilas, first in Test cricket, keeps his hands soft and cushions the impact. 81/2 33.1 to Imrul Kayes, oho, and Duminy has struck again! That's a super delivery, going with the angle and smacking Kayes on the pad as he misreads the length and plays off the back foot. Slides past his inside edge, smacks his back pad, and hits him in front of middle and off. Kayes doesn't review. The umpires simply check for a front-foot no-ball and send the batsman on his way.. 86/3 77.3 to Litton Das, oh my, that's a poor shot. He seemed to have premeditated the sweep, and he's hurried into his shot by a quicker ball, and it turns and bounces sharply too, and the ball pops up off his leading edge, straight into short midwicket's hands. 220/6
