2.5 to RG Sharma, Mayank has his first wicket of the season with the slower one. A soft dismissal for Rohit, who reached out to the wide length ball and cut straight to short third. His feet were planted, it was just the hands and torso that moved. Couldn't place it in the gap and that ends a promising start. 33/1 15.1 to HH Pandya, Through him! Hardik falls right after the time out. Hard lengths shaping back into Hardik, who is late in bringing down his bat. The ball is through him and takes leg stump. Important strike for the visitors.. 157/5
4 | 0 | 44 | 1 | 11.00 | 8 | 5 | 2 | 1 | 0 | |
11.3 to WG Jacks, Through him! What a delivery from Prince. Aims for the base of middle stump, and gets it on point at 137kph. Jacks is late in bringing his bat down and sees his stumps in a mess. 116/3
4 | 0 | 48 | 1 | 12.00 | 5 | 3 | 4 | 0 | 0 | |
8.4 to RD Rickelton, Deceived in the air and Rathi's grassy notebook is back. Looked like the googly but it's hard to tell with Rathi, who grips the ball with his thumb and forefinger. Was a premeditated shot from Rickelton, made room early and slashed at a slower-looking length ball just outside off. It was a touch too wide, he went through with the shot but top-edged it. Ball lobbed to point. Good innings from Rickelton though. 88/2
4 | 0 | 41 | 1 | 10.25 | 7 | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
12.6 to NT Tilak Varma, Top-edge, top-edge and Bishnoi has dismissed Tilak for the first time in T20s. Gently tossed up wrong'un well outside the hitting arc of Tilak. Bishnoi slowed it down and got that extra bounce, too. All that added up in inducing a false shot. Tilak reaches for it, sweeps but can only spoon it as far as Prince Yadav at deep midwicket. 137/4

17.3 to SA Yadav, Oh, he's mistimed that straight to extra cover! What a way to depart. Fullish in length well outside off, he looks to loft this over cover, instead cue-ends it straight to extra cover. Stands there in disbelief.. 180/6 19.4 to C Bosch, Taken by Pooran at long-on. Low full toss on off stump, the bat turns in his hand as he looks to go over the fielder's head. Pooran takes a simple catch. End of an important cameo, nevertheless.. 208/7 |

11.2 to MR Marsh, Straight up and Marsh's sprightly knock has come to an end. That's such an important wicket. Slower short of a length ball at 116.6kph angling across Marsh. That meant the batter had to reach for it and couldn't control his pull. Gets a top edge that spoons straight up and dep square leg rushes it to take a comfortable catch. 110/4 14.2 to A Badoni, Another one bites the dust! Slower short of a length ball on off. Badoni backs away and looks to carve this over point/short third. The lack of pace however does not allow him any power behind the shot and taps this straight to point. 135/5 19.6 to DS Rathi, A sensational way to end the innings and this is MI's fifth straight win this year. This is also the 150th victory for MI in the IPL, the first time for any team in the league. And it's fitting Boult gets that final wicket. Angles the on-pace length ball on middle and leg. Rathi misses and his stumps are rattled.. 161/10

2.4 to AK Markram, Flicked straight to deep-backward square leg. Not a bowler's wicket as such but Bumrah will take that. 141ks length ball on the pads followed Markram as he gave away the stumps. He didn't transfer weight but timed it nicely, whipped it flat and the placement did him in. Naman was the only fielder deep fielder on the leg side. 18/1 15.2 to DA Miller, Bumrah comes back and removes Miller. Is that the end for LSG? Miller backs away but Bumrah follows him. It is a shin-high full toss that Miller flicks. He gets it on the higher part of the blade and the ball spoons straight up. Bosch goes reverse-cup and takes it comfortably at deep midwicket. 141/6 15.5 to Abdul Samad, The slow dipping yorker of Bumrah does Samad all in! Such a special delivery from a special bowler. Slower offcutter at 122kph on middle, Samad is through the shot waaay too early and sees his middle stump pushed back. Bumrah wheels away in celebration.. 142/7 15.6 to Avesh Khan, An upward shift of 20kph on that previous ball. It's a yorker one more time and this time the ball hits off pole. Oh, man, what a bowler! Yorker on the base of off stump, there is nothing Avesh could do.. 142/8

6.1 to N Pooran, Strikes first ball!. The field spread after the powerplay and SKY is pumped after taking a running catch from long-off. He went left, lunged and fell forward in follow-through with ball in hand. Was a hit-me ball though. Looped into the slot from around the wicket, was driven through the line.. 60/2 6.3 to RR Pant, Pant's horror run continues, he's lobbed a reverse sweep to short third. Jacks bags another leftie. Was a loopy offbreak on a fullish length, landed around leg. Pant premeditated, went across, might've gotten too far inside the line and got the edge. Karn, the catcher, runs rampant as do MI. Pant smiles in resignation with Zaheer after getting into the dugout. 64/3

18.5 to Ravi Bishnoi, A maiden IPL wicket for Bosch and isn't he delighted! A 133.8kph yorker heading for middle stump. Bishnoi looks to go across the line, is nowhere near it and sees his stumps in a mess. Bosch is ecstatic, the crowd is ecstatic and MI are on the verge of a fifth straight win. 157/9 |
