Derwin Christian

Derwin Christian is a batsman of modest abilities and a safe wicketkeeper. Since his first-class debut in 2005, Christian has been a regular in the Guyana ranks and his lusty lower-order hitting in the Twenty20 format has often come in handy. In the 2010-11 Caribbean T20, he smashed 40 from 13 balls to carry Guyana past Combined Campuses and Colleges. In August, 2011 he was called up to the West Indies Twenty20 squad to play against England in September.
