A right-hand bat, Juliana Nero only took up cricket in 1999 but was playing for West Indies just one year later, as they took on a touring team from Lancashire. She went on to represent her team in the World Cup qualifier in Holland in 2003, and also toured India and Pakistan in 2004. Nero's professional career is also in the cricket sphere: she is a qualified coach.
