Louise is the fastest bowler in New Zealand women's cricket. Clocking in at 120 kph, her pace is just 5 kph slower than the world's fastest woman bowler, Australia's Cathryn Fitzpatrick. She was selected for the New Zealand 'A' tour to Australia in 2001 and subsequently added to the senior squad for the home leg of the 2001/02 Rosebowl Series. She was selected for the tour to England, Ireland and the Netherlands the following year, and her cricket was boosted as a member of the New Zealand Cricket 2002 Academy. She was also selected for the ODI series against India in 2006, during which she showed her sheer class and pace. Milliken took wickets constantly, and when called up on to get a wicket or two, to put the match in favour of the New Zealander's, she didn't hesitate, and cemented her status as one of the best bowlers in the world and helping her team to a 4-1 series win.
