Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 4th Match at Chattogram, Tri-Series, Sep 18 2019 - Match Result
Mutumbami and Kyle Jarvis's 58-run partnership is ZIM's highest for the 8th wicket in T20Is, breaking the record of 53 between Peter Moor and Mavuta
That's all from our side for this game. See you soon.
Shakib Al Hasan: I thought we started well with the bat. The way we wanted to finish the innings, we couldn't. The bowlers bowled brilliantly, and at the same time, the way we fielded was terrific. It helped having proper five bowlers and in T20 matches, more often than not it's your bowlers who win you matches. Going into the final, if we win the next match that would be huge boost up as momentum is a big thing in T20 cricket.
Mahmudullah: From the dressing room only I had made my mind that I would go from the first ball. Liton batted really well, Mushy batted really well. Happy to contribute to the win and hopefully I will be more consistent. We need to put our best performance in the next game.
Mahmudullah is the Player of the Match.
Hamilton Masakadza: A bit of a disaster there with the batting. When you lose half your side within first ten overs, it's hard to come back. I thought the total was definitely chaseable, especially given the dew. That was also one of the reasons behind bowling first.
Time for the presentation ceremony.
10.00pm So Zimbabwe crash out of the race for the final as Bangladesh have outplayed them here at Chittagong. They had come closer in their first two games but today's was a disappointing performance.
