That's all from us at ESPNcricinfo tonight. On behalf of Ranjith P and Shashank Kishore, this is Sreshth Shah signing off. See you tomorrow for more BBL action!

9.30pm Experience trumps flair tonight as Siddle keeps cool to finish the game magnificently for Strikers. They remain undefeated as they jump to first. This was also Stars' first defeat. Fireworks at the stadium - a beautiful sight with the night sky in the background. Maxwell, Stoinis and Handscomb kept Stars in the hunt all evening but Rashid and Siddle always kept Strikers ahead of the eight-ball. Don't forget Jono Wells' 68 in the first innings. He is the Man of the Match.. "I was nervous after dropping Maxi," he says, "but credit to Siddle for keeping calm at the death."

Amit Kumar: "Ifs and Buts - Steyn would have been a better swinger choice than Zampa, isnt it.."

19.6
Siddle to Zampa, no run

Strikers win by four runs Yorker on leg, and padded away to short fine leg.

Can the new man hit a six a win it for Stars? Coulter-Nile will be at the non-striker's for the final ball. Surely Siddle doesn't need a reminder about "no no-balls, no wides." Zampa will take strike

Jay: "B Dunk 16 balls for just 17 runs cost stars this match!!"

19.5
W
Siddle to Dunk, OUT

got 'im! Yorker on leg stump, and the bails are off even before Dunk could bring his bat down. What an over so far

2
Siddle to Dunk, 2 runs

Stars one shot away from victory as Dunk comes back for the second. Low full toss on middle, and dragged to deep midwicket. Would've been out at the batsman's end if the throw was better

19.3
1
Siddle to Coulter-Nile, 1 run

full, on leg stump, and struck past the bowler. Mid-off runs across to intercept

Nine needed off four. The right man's on strike, if you're a Stars fan. Cameron White helping Carey out. Fine leg goes back

19.2
1
Siddle to Dunk, 1 run

full on middle, and hammered to long on. This time they settle for the one

Five more twos and the Stars are home. Crowd on it's feet

Vaibhav Shukla: "Sorry about the Rashid comment Liam, anyways Siddle proved me wrong."

19.1
2
Siddle to Dunk, 2 runs

low full toss on middle, and he thumps this to long on. Dangerous attempting the second run, but they scurry across well

Grandstand finish to this fixture, folks.

Duke: "Possibly the best game of this BBL season."

Stars need 12 off six! Fullish outside off, and Coulter-Nile attempts the drive. But he finds the nick, and the ball flies over a makeshift wide first slip

1w
Agar to Coulter-Nile, 1 wide

this time the wide yorker isn't perfect. Outside the tramlines

18.5
Agar to Coulter-Nile, no run

18.1

Agar to Dunk, 1 run

yorker length, on middle. Drilled to long off

Liam: "Seeing comments like "Rashid Khan is the only one can win this for Strikers" is disrespectful to the Strikers. This is the most well rounded unit in the BBL. They are on the verge of taking out an international worthy Stars team."

NCN. Strike-rate of 131

Abdul Ghaffar: "Never in my memory i've seen Maxwell finishing a match ..."

17.3
W
Siddle to Maxwell, OUT

would you believe that? Maxwell's idiosyncracy costs him his wicket. Tries to reverse hook this over third man again, but it flies off the bat's toe and dislodges the bails. Stunning innings comes to an end
