4.6 to TM Dilshan, There's Pattinson's reward. After four balls on off stump, this one is in the corridor outside it, bowled from slightly wider on the crease. It was a bit shorter too and bounced and straightened just a fraction. Dilshan had to go onto the back foot and was surprised by the bounce as much as the change in line. He just poked at it and got a thin edge through to the keeper. 17/2 28.6 to KC Sangakkara, caught at deep square leg! Short of a length delivery that hurried Sangakkara who began to swivel pull but then checked his shot, the ball went off the top edge high in the air and straight to Peter Forrest. The partnership ends on 123, it's been a splendid one.. 140/3 38.5 to LD Chandimal, caught at mid-off! Chandimal's gone this time. He was on the front foot and he tried to hit down the ground, the length wasn't short enough for that shot and he holed out to McKay at mid-off. He's made 75, an excellent innings. Pattinson's taken his third wicket.. 186/4 48.6 to HDRL Thirimanne, he's been bowled off the middle of the bat! Thirimanne moved across his stumps to try and scoop the ball over fine leg, he made decent contact, but deflected the ball on to his stumps. 235/9

41.1 to AD Mathews, caught, splendidly caught! The ball was a slightly slower one outside off stump and Mathews was on the front foot and into his shot too early. He tried to check it but ended up spooning the ball in the air down the ground. Doherty ran quickly from mid-on towards the boundary, covered a lot of ground, and took the catch as the ball dropped over his head. 195/5 43.3 to NLTC Perera, caught on the deep midwicket boundary! Michael Hussey takes a special kind of catch, one that is becoming less rare these days. Perera swung hard and hit the ball high towards deep midwicket, Hussey ran back and settled under the ball and took the catch inside play. He realised he was going to go over the boundary so he threw the ball up, stepped over the rope, stepped back in, and caught the ball again.. 206/6 43.4 to SMSM Senanayake, lbw! The ball is full and straight, Senanayake moves across his crease and tries to play on the leg side by closing the face of his bat, he misses and is hit in front, that would have clipped leg stump. 206/7 43.5 to KMDN Kulasekara, a hat-trick for Christian! He bowled a full ball that swung into the right-hander, Kulasekara did what Senanayake did, moved across and tried to flick. He missed and got hit on the pad, this looked like it was missing leg but the umpire didn't think so. Christian is mobbed by his team-mates.. 206/8 49.6 to SL Malinga, bowled him! Christian finishes with five wickets. Malinga moved way across his stumps to glance towards fine leg and he missed. The ball was straight and hit middle stump.. 238/10

2.5 to DA Warner, caught at short cover! The length ball seemed to grip on the pitch and come on to Warner slower than he expected. He was already well through his swat by the time he made contact. He still hit the ball off the middle though and it went quickly to Perera at short cover, splendid reflex catch. 16/1 4.6 to PJ Forrest, edged and caught behind! The ball was ordinary, short and wide, there to be hit to the boundary. But Forrest tried to cut it with no foot movement and threw his bat out a long way away from his body. He got a huge and loud edge through to Sangakkara.. 26/3 30.6 to SR Watson, bowled him! That's full and straight, a little bit of swing into the right-hander. Watson tried to play across the line towards midwicket and missed. The ball crashed into middle stump and flattened it. Sri Lanka have made a tremendous breakthough. 140/5 48.2 to XJ Doherty, caught! Malinga bowls a straight ball, the length is full and the pace is slow. Doherty is early on the shot and spoons the ball in the air over the bowler's head. Dilshan called for it early, ran to his right from mid-on, and took an easy catch. 226/9

3.1 to MS Wade, lbw! Kulasekara pitched the ball in line with the stumps from over the wicket and angled it across the left-hander, Wade moved across his crease to play on the leg side and was hit on the back pad. Height might have been the only issue but that looked pretty good. The umpire thought so too. The MCG comes to life, there are so many Sri Lankan fans today and they are cheering themselves hoarse. Replays indicate that height was no problem, and the ball was going to just shave off stump. 18/2 49.1 to DJ Hussey, Sri Lanka have won! Hussey has been caught at long off, and listen to the MCG erupt! Mahela Jayawardene is ecstatic. Hussey decided to attack Kulasekara and lofted him down the ground, he hit the full ball flat but not far enough, Dilshan was the man at long-off and he held the catch to send the fans at the MCG into wild celebrations. Sri Lanka have played a tremendous game and are in the finals. 229/10

33.5 to DT Christian, caught and bowled! Has that carried? The ball stopped on Christian as he pushed at it, lobbing it back to the bowler, Senanayake dived forward and just got his fingers under the ball. The umpires refer it to the third umpire but Christian begins to walk after he sees the replay on the big screen. 151/6

24.6 to MEK Hussey, caught behind! Thirimanne has struck for Sri Lanka, would you believe it! Hussey stayed in his crease and poked at the ball angling across him, it was a thick edge and Sangakkara did well to catch it standing up to the stumps. 113/4

40.3 to JL Pattinson, caught at midwicket! Sri Lanka edge closer to that spot in the finals. Pattinson clips the ball firmly off his pads, but it's in the air and straight to Dilshan. He has injured fingers but he's taken that catch easily. The strong Sri Lankan contingent at the MCG party a little harder.. 178/7
