20.1 to NFI McCallum, another Scottish batsman ggoes, this time thanks to a fantastic catch by O'Brien diving to his left. It was on a good length and nipping back to catch a fine inside edge and O'Brien did the rest!. 100/5 24.4 to DF Watts, good thinking from Connell as he bowls a slower ball which traps Watts bang infront as he tries to turn the ball into the legside. Good spell for the Irish. 115/6

8.3 to GM Hamilton, there's the breakthrough and how Ireland needed it. The ball seemed a bit quicker, taking the off stump bail as Hamilton tried to play through square leg. 60/1 34.4 to JAR Blain, he's gone after a smart catch by O'Brien on the long-off boundary. Good length delivery driven down the ground by Blain but he couldn't quite clear the field. 150/9

11.1 to MQ Sheikh, another wicket and it was a really ugly shot. It looked a little slower and flighted by Botha, hitting off stump as Sheikh aimed a rather agricultural slog over midwicket. 66/2 31.4 to RD Berrington, slower ball again which Berrington tried to swing over midwicket, he didn't quite get hold of it and picked out Wilson on the midwicket boundary. 133/8

17.2 to RR Watson, beaten in the flight and that's the wicket that Ireland wanted. Very nicely flighted by the Irish vice-capain drawing Watson down the pitch, he was well short of his ground as O'Brien whipped off the bails. 91/3 19.1 to CJO Smith, another stumping, again nicely flighted to draw Smith out of his ground and spinning past the edge. Niall O'Brien completed the formalities with little fuss. 99/4 27.1 to RM Haq, another wicket for McCallan, flatter delivery which trapped Haq on the back foot. Billy Bowden had little doubt to send Haq on his way. 120/7 |

4.2 to WTS Porterfield, bowled him! Not the most convincing of defensive shots by Porterfield, not really getting properly forward to ball which hit off-stump. Big breakthrough for the Scots. 19/1

9.5 to NJ O'Brien, slower ball from Drummond, taking the inside edge as O'Brien came forward to hit the stumps. That should liven things up a bit!. 42/2

22.6 to GC Wilson, advances down the pitch and aims a drive over mid-on, unfortunately he can't quite clear the fielder, and John Blain takes the catch. 119/3
