19.2 to PW Hasaranga, One hit too many and he's gone but not before doing substantial damage to Galle! Everybody applauds him in the dressing room and the crowd are on their seats. Miscues one to square of midwicket and Shevon pockets the catch low down, it was on a length with no pace and drifting towards leg stump, couldn't get the requisite power. 198/5 | ||||||||||

12.1 to Fakhar Zaman, Gets the big fish! He goes for the big hit but couldn't get underneath it and Ngarawa takes a magnificent catch at long-on. Fakhar couldn't control his bat swing and loses the plot just when he was expected to tee off. 103/3 18.3 to AD Mathews, Has he got enough? No, he hasn't! Fuller length and it skids off the deck, he tries to lump him for a six downtown but finds Rajitha at long-on who ran across to take a superb catch. 3.4 to Mohammad Haris, First breakthrough for Titans! Dug in short and induces a hook, he cannot get on top of the bounce and reacts a little late, Tabraiz Shamsi pouches it comfortably at square leg and Haris throws it away after getting a start. It was a well-directed bumper that took off. Haris has been guilty of not putting much price on his wicket and often gets out after getting off to a good start - an area that he needs to work on. 26/1 | ||||||||||

8.6 to LD Chandimal, Springs down the track and miscues a skier to long-off! Shamsi strikes, bowls at a tight line, he takes a few steps out of his crease and looks to clear the fielder in the deep, got the elevation but not the distance, it skewed off the outside half of the bat and Ngarawa makes no mistake in the deep, hangs onto it superbly. This is exactly what Galle Titans needed as the partnership was starting to look threatening. 75/2 | ||||||||||

1.4 to S Daniel, Trying to target the that knee roll, looks pretty adjacent. Tossed up on a shortish length and it veers back sharply from outside off, goes past the bat and raps him on the front pad. The umpire agrees with Mujeeb and raises the finger. Shevon decides to take second opinion on it. Pitching outside off, impact in line and hitting top of middle stump so the on-field decision stands. Mujeeb has produced the first bit of magic and got a crucial breakthrough. 20/1 3.3 to PBB Rajapaksa, Mathews takes an absolute screamer at short cover! He dives forward and gobbles it up, sends out-of-form Rajapaksa back in the hut. Lobbed up on a length on off, tries to clobber that away but go no timing on it. 26/2 | ||||||||||

4.2 to TL Seifert, Slams this short ball on middle towards mid-on into Udana as he instinctively flicks out his right hand, and surprisingly the ball sticks in it. Undone by ferocious pace and bounce, tries to get on top of it but is slightly beaten by the pace and it hits him high on the bat as well.. 27/3 | ||||||||||

6.3 to L Croospulle, Croospulle perishes! First making a big impact with the bat and now gets a wicket in his first over, bowls a searing googly on a length that spins back sharply and beats his sweep. Croospulle's ebullience lasted 17 deliveries as Galle find themselves in a rut. 40/4 8.1 to Shakib Al Hasan, Miscues the skier and Hasaranga shows him who's boss! Tossed up on the pads, went for the slog sweep and got a top-edge that balloons up. Finds Fakhar at deep square who came charging in and took a stupendous diving catch. Galle stare into the abyss and a massive defeat will dent their NRR. Hasaranga though continues to make cricket look like child's play, after a wily over he outfoxes Shakib on the first ball of his second over. 47/6 16.3 to T Shamsi, Gottim with a beauty! Breaches Shamsi's defences with an incredible wrong'un, he went for a big mow over leg side but he got lots of revs on the ball and it turned sharply, too good for him. 114/9 16.4 to R Ngarava, Quite fittingly the aberration Hasaranga wraps up the game in style! He decimated Galle Titans with both bat and ball. It's a quintessential example of leading from the front. Ngarava flexes his muscles and launches it down the ground but didn't get enough elevation, finds Chameera at long-on who takes the catch comfortably. 114/10 | ||||||||||

7.3 to MD Shanaka, Bowls a thunderbolt on a fraction shorter length and gets his man! Trapped lbw as he attempts a pull and the thunders into the front pad. Shanaka decides to burn a review. It looks pretty close to the bat on the replay but the ultra edge shows no spike as the ball passes the bat. Well, three reds on the screen and another one bites the dust. It's been a pretty listless batting performance so far from Titans - going nowhere in their reply. 45/5 15.4 to SMLD Samarakoon, Timberrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Now that's a tremendous riposte. Hurls a heat-seeking yorker on middle and it's too good for him, he is unable to jam his bat down and keep it out as the ball wrecks the stumps. What a sight for the bowler, not so much for Samarakoon who will be looking away from the big screen. 109/7 15.6 to SMA Priyanjan, Pulled and Priyanjan holed out to square leg! Arachchige swallows this down his throat and the batter looks distraught. It was another slow ball and he got it absolutely spot on this time.
