12.50pm That's it from all of us. Shortened game, but long day because of the late start. Can't wait to feel a pillow against the back of my head. Hope you enjoyed our coverage, and do keep coming back for more. Till next time, good night!
RaoP: "@Ayush - Combinations exist where a huge CSK loss can eliminate CSK on NRR - so all matches are important."
Axar Patel is the man of the match. "I was trying to concentrate on my line and length," he says. "I knew the batsmen would go after me, and I knew if I bowled to my strengths I would be hard to hit. Gayle and Virat Kohli were out so it was a little easy for me, and AB de Villiers is a right-hander, so it's a bit easier. I was trying to deny him room."
George Bailey: "It's very satisfying, very gratifying. A lot can happen in shortened games, and so many people stepped up, really pleasing to see. We worked hard on our losses, and we deserve to celebrate our wins. Hopefully we'll take that confidence into the last game and win two on the trot. We knew if we could crack the top three open, we had a chance, and the boys did that."
Virat Kohli: "I think Kings XI bowled a little better than us in those 2-3 overs towards the end. Sending Saha right up the order was a great move, and 30-odd off 10 balls was crucial. We had three overs of bad cricket, and ended up losing by 22 runs. I feel for Kings XI. They are a brilliant team but they haven't got across the line in a few games, and today they played really well."
Hippu: "This is perhaps the first IPL edition where none of the teams is assured of a place in the playoffs - coming to their last one or two games."
Ayush: "Barring the CSK-KXIP game, all the remaining matches are must win for the contenders to make it to the top 4. Have we ever had such a close IPL season?"
Satwinder: "" KX1P win has made total anarchy in the Points table.........Last week is getting more and more interesting""
12.35pm There were signs that the ball wasn't coming onto the bat when Harshal Patel and David Wiese were bowling their slower balls for RCB, and the Kings XI bowlers used the lack of pace expertly in defending 106. Hendricks and Axar finish with exceptional economy rates. Their four overs only cost their side 20 runs. Kings XI end a seven-match winless streak, and they do it with a massive win. The start Wriddhiman Saha gave them has proved vital too.
another slower ball on off stump. Sarfaraz makes room to hit over cover, ends up slicing it high in the air, straight to third man
another slower ball outside off, clubbed to long-on
back of a length slower ball outside off, sneaks under Wiese's bat as he aims a pull at it
fuller now, and this time he connects with the lap from outside off, but hits it straight to backward square leg
slower ball outside off, makes no contact as he tries to play the lap-scoop
he begins with a high full-toss, heading towards the right shoulder of the batsman. Takes his eyes off it as he half-fends, half-pulls, and it goes off the edge towards short third man. Slipped out of his hand, I guess
28 to get off one over. Axar and the slower-ball merchants have been brilliant. It's Anureet to bowl the last over.
shorter now, on off stump, and he clears his front leg and flat-bats it to long-off
speared full and flat on off stump, slapped to sweeper cover
Mohak: "Does Federer, Rafa and Djokovic count?" -- They don't play for the same team, do they?
again it's flat and quick, but it's shorter, and angled into the batsman's body to cramp him for room. Goes for the pull, gets it high on the bat, and holes out to long-on
follows the batsman as Sarfaraz comes down the track, moving towards the leg side. Goes for the big hit, drags it in the air to the right of deep midwicket, drops well short of him
down the track and he fires it full, angling into the batsman. Jabbed towards square cover
sees him making room and bowls it flat and straight. Sarfaraz swipes it down to long-on
slower ball outside off, and Mandeep swings and misses, looking to carve over the off side

very full on middle stump, and DK tried to play a straight-bat, bottom-hand shovel to get under the ball and get elevation. He managed this, but not the distance, and the skier dropped gently into long-on's hands
low full-toss on middle stump, down on one knee to swing it away to deep midwicket
slower ball on middle stump, angling in and denying the batsman room. Pushed into the covers

John: "How bout the deadliest combination in English cricket at the moment? Graves, Strauss and Harrison?"
Hendricks returns, from around the wicket.
