That's it from us tonight. Thanks for tuning in, and we'll be back for more at The Oval tomorrow. Cheers!

George Garton is the Match Hero: "It's not normal in a white-ball game to have such good bowling conditions. We had to make the most of it and we did. Not 100%, I had to go off because Long Covid got me a bit again. I felt like my pace was a bit down: I went for accuracy and swing. Different bowling attack to last year but I'm a powerplay bowler and try to set the game up. We love Stirlo, on and off the pitch, and he showed again tonight how good he is. We have to take every game as it comes."

9.40pm: A routine Southern Brave win in the dampest of squibs in Cardiff, a rain-affected Monday-night dead-rubber clashing with one of the Premier League's marquee fixtures. Brave were always ahead of the game thanks to a stunning new-ball burst from George Garton and Paul Stirling's sublime innings meant the chase was a formality. Fire... the less said, the better.
