Tom Curran has the meerkat-hat on. "A big win, straight to the final, so really pleased with that. Stay still and swing hard, it's hit or miss at the end there. Pleased with that innings. The wicket got a bit better under lights, it skidded on like a Sharjah-style wicket for us. Finish top and go straight to the final. A good comp, hopefully one more big push at the big dance."

So, that's the end of that. Invincibles are in the final next Sunday. Who will join them? Still all to play for, including for tonight's vanquished hosts, Southern Brave. From Miller and Thilak, good night.

8.41pm Well, that was an entertaining end to a game that had fizzled long before. Tom Curran's figures took a hammering at the end, but hard to deny him the match hero status. His own 40-something was the decisive knock of this match.

PK: "Pietersen made sense yesterday. Set a target of 45 for the powerplay and be prepared to lose 2 wickets. "

into the toes, munched over midwicket again! Quite the finish from David, but he needed to set off about five balls earlier. Oval are into the play-offs in style!

Sam Curran to David, no run

another marvellous yorker, David can only flog hopelessly through the line and inside-edge to short third

Peter: "Match hero should be a straightforward decision. Too much talent in that family, it's just not fair. "

Sam Curran to David, no run

yorker, outstanding delivery, Curran wants the lbw but it's just outside leg. No matter, it's a dot-ball. They are reviewing, extremely optimistically> I guess they want to beat the traffic. This is the most pointlessly faffy review of all time, fwiw. The third umpire agonising over an inside-edge, when all three stumps are visible. Blah

Tom Curran to Garton, OUT

Huge top-edge, and a brilliant take from Billings! Swirling into the evening sky, miscued pull, Billings turns well, leaps as the ball gets away from him a touch, and clings on with a leap and both gloves tight together
