0.2 to Abdullah Shafique, edged and taken by Smith at second! Oh dear. First up swing fooled Shafique. The second was full and angled across wide of off but it didn't swing, Shafique was half-committed trying to drive and gets a healthy edge and Smith takes an easy catch wait high at second. Horror start for Pakistan. 0/1 53.4 to Agha Salman, spooned to square leg! Soft dismissal after a lot of hard work Short ball into the ribs, Salman has been playing this well, pulling them behind square but he miscued this half-hearted pull completely and just spooned a catch to Head in a catching position on square. It maybe hurried him a tough as it hit high on bat. Salman is bitterly disappointed with himself.. 226/8
15 | 2 | 65 | 1 | 4.33 | 66 | 7 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
1.2 to Saim Ayub, caught behind! Hazlewood at his best. Good length, wobbling on off, it hits the seam and nips away as Ayub defends on the front foot, it catches the edge and Carey takes it low to his left. Ayub didn't do a lot wrong. Potentionally could have got a fraction further forward but that was a beauty. It seamed quite a way off the same length as the previous ball. Too good. 4/2
18 | 1 | 61 | 5 | 3.38 | 75 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
10.5 to Babar Azam, huge appeal for lbw given not out. Australia review. Big hooping inswinger hits the pad first half forward. Hits the shin. No bat. Is it doing too much? No! Ball tracking has it smashing leg stump! Three reds! Babar is out! That swung violently back in and surprised Babar to beat the inside edge. Michael Gough thought it was swinging too far but it wasn't. Babar has to go. 39/3 14.3 to Saud Shakeel, Has he nicked it? Yes, he has and Shakeel has to go! Short of a length, curving away outside off, was far away from him and he went feeling for it, get a faint tickle through to Carey who pouches it safely in his gloves. Pakistan in deep trouble! That was a tentative prod at the delivery and Cummins keep finding ways to flummox the batters. Looks like he is at the zenith of his career and picking up wickets comes almost instinctively to him at this stage of his career. 47/4 46.2 to Mohammad Rizwan, How often have you seen that in this series? Cummins once again provides the breakthrough. Well-directed short ball on middle, rises to his chest height, and he miscues a skier to Hazlewood at deep backward square. Australia get the vital scalp of Rizwan who was looking dangerous but he has to go now. Made a well-fought enterprising 88. 190/6 52.2 to Sajid Khan, pulled straight to forward square! Lyon doesn't have to move. Short ball on middle, Sajid takes it on with a pull shot but nails it flat and straight to Lyon at forward square in a catching position he holds on comfortably. Cummins has four. 220/7 54.6 to Hasan Ali, flicked straight down fine leg's throat! Cummins has another five-for! Three in a row. Short into the ribs, he rides the bounce and flicks it off the top edge to fine leg and it floats into the safe hands of Mitchell Starc. 227/9

77.1 to Aamer Jamal, Finally, Aamer Jamal miscues a skier and holes out to Starc at long on. He stands there in disbelief but this has been a stupendous knock from Aamer Jamal; he has regaled the crowd royally at SCG! Exceptional batting against all the odds and he struck a wonderful partnership with Mir Hamza. Jamal gets a standing ovation as he walks back towards the dressing room.. 313/10
7 | 1 | 27 | 1 | 3.85 | 28 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 1 | |
29.3 to Shan Masood, caught at second slip! Marsh's foot is behind this line this time! Good length angled across, he pokes from the crease down the wrong line as it angled across, closed the face slightly, he gets a thick edge and it is pouched neatly at second slip by Smith. Masood fails to cash in on his luck. 96/5

106.2 to AT Carey, Bowled him! Straight through his defence! Drifting into middle, Carey played for turn striding forward to defend on the front foot, it skidded on and beat the inside edge, it clipped his sweater and just nicked the top of leg stump to knock the bails off! Sajid Khan strikes on the stroke of tea.. 289/6
21 | 9 | 53 | 1 | 2.52 | 99 | 6 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
73.2 to SPD Smith, Smith chips one straight to one of them! Falls for the trap straight away! Fuller ball wide of off, tempting the drive, Smith was tempted, he walked down the track and tried to loft over the men in the catching positions, it just held in the pitch a touch bringing up a puff of dust, it hits high on the bat and floats high to Babar Azam who jumps up and pouches it!. 187/3

43.3 to UT Khawaja, Strangled down the leg side? Jamal looks convinced and Rizwan goes for the review straightaway; he is sure Khawaja got something on it and the expression on Khawaja's face doesn't look so assured. Short ball zooming in towards leg side and went through very quickly as he tried to help it to fine leg and got a faint tickle through to the keeper, Rizwan makes no mistake and gobbles it up gleefully, he is safe as a house behind the stumps and the entire Pakistan team cluster in joy! On-field umpire reverses his decision as there was a mark close to the glove on that hotspot, strong evidence on snicko as well, big breakthrough. Pakistan get reward for bowling with discipline and creating pressure.. 108/2 83.2 to TM Head, Ball thunders into the front pad and prompts and lbw appeal, umpire raises the dreaded finger and Jamal celebrates with a vicious fist-pump and a loud scream but hold your horses, Head has taken a review. No deviation on the snicko. Pitching outside off, impact in line and clipping leg stump so the on-field decision stands. Head shakes his head in disbelief and starts to take the long walk back to the pavilion. Jamal makes an impact again, gets a vital breakthrough right after lunch. 205/5 107.4 to MR Marsh, Jamal has the last laugh! Mistimes the drive and is early through the shot! Snaffled by Shan Masood at wide mid-off who makes no mistake. This is a massive wicket and Pakistan haven't taken long to dismiss the dangerous Marsh! He was lunging at the ball and connected earlier than he should have and it goes straight to Pakistan captain who didn't have to move a muscle to gobble it up. 293/7 107.6 to PJ Cummins, Shrieking for a lbw and the finger doesn't go up! It looked very close in real time, hits him plumb in front of the stumps but there was a sound and that could have created a doubt. Impact in line, wicket hitting, crashing fully onto the leg stump and it's all over. Jamal gets his second in the over and the on-field umpire changes his decision. It was low full bunger that dipped in and he wasn't expecting it at all, totally flummozed by the ball, tried to jam his bat down but by the time it came down, it was too late as the ball thumped his pads. 293/8 109.2 to NM Lyon, Edged and taken? This was a shortish ball banged in on a nagging off stump line, he thrusts the bat at it and got a tickle through to Saud Shakeel at gully, third umpire is checking if it's a clean catch, the fingers are underneath the ball. Umpire taking his time and watching it from different camera angles. That last angle from behind gives him conclusive evidence and the decision on the big screen is OUT. Take a bow for Jamal who has been the standout brightspot for Pakistan; he picks up a fifer after a valiant 82-run knock. This Test match keeps getting better and better for him, it's been a special performance.. 299/9 109.4 to JR Hazlewood, Flings the bat out and the outside edge is drawn. Jamal is on fire! He's an aberration! A captain's delight! Finishes the job quickly as he induces a false shot! Thumped hard into the deck and gets it to kick off the surface, ball held its line on fifth stump outside off and he has wild hack at the ball, gets a thick edge and it sticks in the hands of Agha Salman in the slip cordon who pouches it down his throat, he's an exceptional fielder but this is the moment that belongs to Aamer Jamal! It's his 17th wicket in this series, what an incredible performance from this all-rounder, it's his first series and he has already made a significant impact.. 299/10

24.3 to DA Warner, Caught at slip! This rags from the surface! Salman should have been on sooner! What a delivery. Drifting into leg, Warner is playing back from the crease, closes the face, it bites and spins sharply across him to catch the shoulder of the bat and Babar takes a nice catch rolling to his left. 70/1 74.2 to M Labuschagne, rags through the gate out of the footmarks! Crashes into middle! What a delivery! Brilliant from Salman. Tossed up into the footmarks outside the off stump, it pitches in the rough and rips back through the gap between bat and pad as he leans out to defend and cannons into middle and leg. Flight, dip, spin. Classic offspinner's dismissal!. 187/4 |

0.6 to Abdullah Shafique, Oh my word! Bowls an absolute thundberbolt and he gets him with a beauty! You cant' do anything about it! What a sight for Mitchell Starc, look away Abdullah Shafique, just accept you got a jaffa. Pitched on a hard length and jagged back sharply to wreck the stumps, he left a little gap and that was enough for Starc! A magnificent delivery. 0/1

1.2 to Shan Masood, 2-1. Shan Masood perishes! The ball just kissed the outside edge and Carey takes a regulation catch, tosses the ball in air and Hazlewood punches the air in ecstasy. That's a disastrous start for Pakistan! Shan Masood was chasing the wide one and couldn't hold his temptation and succumbs to the pressure. Should have left it alone. 1/2 24.1 to Saud Shakeel, nicked straight to Smith at first slip! Brilliant captaincy to bring Hazlewood on. Loose shot. 132kph, fuller length outside off, a nothing delivery, not threatening the stumps, not drivable, he just wafts a drive at it and nicks it straight to Smith at a lone first slip and he pouches it easily.. 67/5 24.3 to Sajid Khan, Neither! Bowled him! Neck and crop! Good length, angled in to the top off, Sajid leaves a gaping hole between bat and pad as the high backlift puts the bat swing down the wrong line and Hazlewood finds a way through! Touches the pad and knocks back the top of off.. 67/6 24.5 to Agha Salman, nicked to first slip! Hazlewood turning the match Australia's way. Good length, fifth stump line, wobbling a touch, Salman prods at it, gets a thick edge, it floats waist high to Warner at first and he pouches it with ease. 67/7

40.1 to Aamer Jamal, Cummins is always hungry for tailend wickets and induces an error from Jamal! Tries to whack it out of the park over deep square but didn't get all of it, goes straight into the hands of Head who hangs onto it brilliant in the deep. Big wicket for Australia. He looks disconsolate after perishing on 18. Just went with the instinct and pulled it away, got the height but not the distance.. 109/9
17.1 | 2 | 36 | 3 | 2.09 | 78 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
17.4 to Saim Ayub, given lbw! Ayub reviews after a long chat with Babar. If he hasn't hit it, it looks like trouble. Drifting into middle, full length, it skidded on straight past the inside edge as he played for spin. No bat involved. Nothing on hot spot or Snicko. Ball tracking has it smashing middle. Plumb. And a review burnt.. 58/3 39.4 to Mohammad Rizwan, Nathan Lyon gets the big fish! Lunging at it, got in a tangle, tickled it fine to leg slip and Rizwan loses the plot, he will be livid with himself, Australia strike again. Tossed up fuller and he gets an inside edge, Warner pockets the catch low down much to the delight of the bowler. 109/8 43.1 to Hasan Ali, Nathan Lyon disturbs the furniture! Tossed up with beautiful loop on the ball and gets it to spin from outside off, gets down on one knee and was loading for a slog sweep but ends up making a mess of his stumps as the off stump is uprooted and that ends Pakistan innings. 115/10

20.1 to Babar Azam, caught behind! Head has the golden arm! Superb catch from Carey! Tossed up outside off, full and inviting the drive, Babar is tempted to drive through cover against the turn, it skids on straight and scratches the outside edge, Carey is beautifully positioned, staying low with soft hands to accept the chance. Massive wicket. 60/4 |

0.6 to UT Khawaja, given lbw! Khawaja reviews straight away. He played right back to a fuller length, pitching on middle and spinning away a touch, he plays across the line and is beaten on the outside edge, it hits the back pad infront of off. Ball tracking has it clipping the outside of off! Just clipping it! Barely. Umpire's call. It remains out!. 0/1 24.5 to DA Warner, Tossed up and gets it to turn back markedly from outside off, jams his bat down but not sure if he connected, looked pretty adjacent. A passionate appeal from Sajid and he convinced Shan to go upstairs. Pitching outside off, impact in line and and wickets hitting so that's that...that ends the career of David Warner. He has made a brilliant half-century and didn't let emotions get better of him. He has epitomised the characteristic Aussie style of play throughout his career and continued the legacy of the likes of Mathew Hayden, Adam Gilchrist, Rickey Ponting and so forth. He gets handshakes and pats on the back from all Pakistan players, gets a standing ovation as he walks back to the dressing room, kisses his helmet, arms aloft and appreciates the crowd.. 119/2
