Anderson Phillip

A tall fast bowler from Trinidad, Anderson Phillip is among the West Indies next generation of quicks after Kemar Roach and Shannon Gabriel. He had a rough initiation into Test cricket, picking up four wickets in his first three games at an average of over 70. Despite that, he has kept the West Indies selectors and management interested with his pace and promise, which was on display in the second Test against Australia at St George's in 2025, where he had Sam Konstas nick behind with a perfectly pitched awayswinger. Like his senior Jayden Seales, he expanded his range with stints in county cricket in England. He has been part of the Trinbago Knight Riders for seven seasons at the CPL, but has only played sporadic games.
