0.5 to Soumya Sarkar, Dawlat strikes in his first over. Banged in short and kicks up outside off, Sarkar looks to pull. Loses his shape and ends up flapping a catch into the hands of midwicket. Simple catch. 1/1 47.3 to Shakib Al Hasan, Shakib's wicket adds to the late slide. No fifty for him. Banged in short, rises outside off. Shakib had to fetch it from there, which means he can't control the slog-pull. Ends up skying a catch to deep midwicket. Good fightback from Afghanistan. 246/7 49.3 to Taskin Ahmed, back-of-the-hand legcutter from Dawlat. Taskin could not spot the change-up. He aims a wild leg-side smite, early into it, and ends up dragging it back onto the stumps. 260/9 49.6 to Taijul Islam, Zadran finishes the innings with Taijul's wicket. Unfurls the back-of-the-hand legcutter again. Taijul seeks to loft it away. He can't get hold of it, can't impart enough power. Just spoons it in the air. Two fielders converge near the mid-off region. Rahmat ultimately takes it, Dawlat claims a four-wicket haul. 265/10

48.4 to Mashrafe Mortaza, length and outside off, Mashrafe backs away outside leg, slogs and miscues it high in the air. Rashid settles under that skier, running in from long-off. 254/8

18.1 to Imrul Kayes, chopped on! Tossed up and drifts into the left-hander, he is cramped for the drive. Yet, attempts the shot, and only manages a soft inside-edge that rolls onto the stumps. 84/2 40.4 to Mahmudullah, where did that come from? Mahmudullah can't believe what he's just done. The idea was right, but he didn't get enough bat on it. Walks across the stumps and sweeps a flatter delivery with the spin straight to Ashraf at deep backward square leg. He wanted to hit it a lot finer, but ended up dragging it a little. The ball was dying on Ashraf, but he adjusted well to complete the catch.. 203/4

35.1 to Tamim Iqbal, he was denied a wicket earlier in the innings when a catch was put down at point, but he finally has his man. Tamim looks to slap this over long-off, but managed to get the toe-end of the bat. This time, he managed to hit it down the throat of the long-off fielder Naveen, who nearly over-ran it, but kept his composure to take it in the end. Wonder if their inability to turn the strike in the previous over played a part in this wicket. That's a wicket Afghanistan would gladly take at the moment. 163/3

42.6 to Mushfiqur Rahim, deceived by the googly this time. Looks for an ugly slog sweep, but failed to get underneath it. He was already through with the swing even before the ball got to him, the middle and off stump is disturbed.. 215/5 44.5 to Sabbir Rahman, another appeal for lbw, and the umpire thought long, before raising the finger. The bounce was in question here. It was another googly, Sabbir was stuck to the crease as he looked to whip it across the line. He was hit on the flap of the pad, and replays suggest the ball may have missed the stumps. . 227/6 |

6.6 to Mohammad Shahzad, the Bangladesh captain gives him a send-off with a few choice words. This was a slower delivery that gripped the surface, Shahzad looked to ease it past the keeper, but could only manage to glove that to Mushfiqur. Mirpur comes alive. That was a much-needed wicket for Bangladesh. 46/1 45.3 to Najibullah Zadran, Mashrafe tightens the contest! Back of a length offcutter outside off. Najib slashes with hard hands and nicks it behind to Mushfiq. 230/5

47.4 to Mohammad Nabi, Taskin strikes on return Short offcutter, grips in the surface. Nabi swings in the air. Can't impart enough strength holes out to long-off running to his left. Good catch. 243/6 47.6 to Asghar Stanikzai, What an over from Taskin! He takes down Stanikzai. Good length and on a fourth-stump line. He slogs across the line and finds long-on. Taskin has his hands aloft in joy, Mirpur laps him up. 245/7 49.2 to Mirwais Ashraf, pins him plumb in front! He shuffles across the off stump, eyes up the leg side with an expansive swipe. Misses this full, straight ball and sees the finger go up. 255/9 49.6 to Dawlat Zadran, Bangladesh win by seven runs! Full toss on middle, Dawlat attacks it and ends up carving a catch to long-off running in. 258/10

7.3 to Shabir Noori, as far as decisions go, you have to say that's the simplest of the lot. With that Shakib equals Abdur Razzak's record for most ODI wickets (207) for Bangladesh. This was a typical left-arm spinner's delivery, an arm ball that kept coming back in to beat Noori's forward prod. He was plumb in front of middle. One brings two, they say. I agree. 46/2 40.2 to Rahmat Shah, Shakib provides the hosts with the breakthrough and becomes Bangladesh's leading wicket-taker in ODIs. The batsman skipped down the track, Shakib slowed it up outside off. He is nowhere close to the pitch. Has a wild swipe to leg and misses. Mushfiq does the rest. 190/3
9 | 0 | 62 | 1 | 6.88 | 23 | 6 | 1 | 3 | 0 | |
48.6 to Rashid Khan, What was that Rashid? Good length and outside off, he pre-meditates another fine leg-side ramp. He topples over again. This time he deflects it onto the stumps. 253/8
10 | 0 | 44 | 1 | 4.40 | 29 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
43.3 to Hashmatullah Shahidi, Soumya hangs onto a catch and Mirpur erupts! Taijul takes the key wicket of Shahidi. This was pushed through fuller. He goes low and slog-sweeps it in the air. Gets more height rather than distance. Soumya snaffles the skier at deep midwicket. 210/4
