Looking to run this down to third for a single. But this pitch has been two-paced, and he is perhaps early into the shot. The ball takes the thick inside edge onto the pad and then onto the leg stump. 27/2 43.1 to HH Pandya, slower ball does the trick. Bowled on the fuller side of good length around off, at 119kph. Hardik fails to spot it, pushes at it and ends up hitting it in the air. Agha Salman at extra cover takes it tumbling to his left. 239/6 43.6 to RA Jadeja, edged and taken. Shaheen picks up his fourth to shatter India's hopes of reaching 300. A length ball in the channel. Jadeja hardly moves his feet and throws his hands at it. But all he managed was a leading edge that ballooned over cover-point. Shadab ran backwards and dived full length to pouch it. 242/8 48.2 to Kuldeep Yadav, Kuldeep departs, India nine down. 9.5 to SS Iyer, Iyer looked in great touch but this is an unlucky dismissal. He has smoked the pull shot, but has not succeeded in clearing midwicket. This is a proper pull shot, but straight at the head of midwicket where Fakhar Zaman has taken a superb reaction catch. 48/3 14.1 to Shubman Gill, timber. Seam movement at this pace. You can't do much. Possibly should have got a bigger stride in. This one is full and outside off, Gill defends, the ball seams away, Gill tries to follow it but can't quite catch up. The ball hits the inside edge and then the wicket. 66/4 37.3 to Ishan Kishan, a lovely innings comes to an end. He was struggling a bit between the wickets. Possibly that is why he is taking more risks. Short of a length, just outside off, not short enough to pull but Kishan goes for it and ends up skying this to mid-on. 204/5 | ||||||||||
