11.4 to NT Tilak Varma, cleans him up! Back of a length delivery on leg stump. Tilak, feeling the pressure of the dot balls, has an agricultural swipe at it. Loses his shape completely and seems to get a bottom edge (or glove) before the ball clips the top of leg stump. A painstaking innings really, and India are now two down!. 111/2

9.5 to RD Gaikwad, taken at deep mid wicket! Full on off stump, and Gaikwad, after the two boundaries in the previous over, wants to continue going after the bowling. Has a mighty mow across the line but gets it right off the toe-end. Gets the elevation but not the distance as deep mid wicket completes a regulation catch. It was a struggle throughout for Gaikwad and he departs, having scored 25 off 23!. 103/1 16.2 to YBK Jaiswal, Jaiswal falls! And it is a full toss that has seemingly gotten rid of him! Full toss outside off that should have found the fence. But because Jaiswal is already in the process of advancing, he is hurried into his stroke. Throws his hands at it anyway and slices it towards short third man, who dives forward and snaps up a sharp chance! The third umpire checks if the full toss is high enough to be called a No ball but it is well below the waist. Jaiswal soaks in the applause as he walks back!. 150/4

12.5 to JM Sharma, Jitesh bites the dust too! Shortens his length after seeing Jitesh advance, and this one seems to grip in the surface. Jitesh tries to hack it over the leg side but because the ball comes off slower than he expects, he skews it off the leading edge. Lamicchane settles under it and does the rest. India in danger of losing their way!. 119/3

15.4 to S Jora, Jora perishes, and Arshdeep has the last laugh! Another slot ball outside off and Jora would be gutted he did not make the most of it. Got his front foot out of the way again but could not get the elevation he was after, ultimately arrowing it straight to Jaiswal at long off!. 140/6 17.1 to Gulsan Jha, picks out long on to perfection! Full and straight at the stumps. Jha gets his front foot out of the way and swings through the line. Gets a decent chunk of it but because the ball is so full, he cannot get under it enough. Arrows it straight to Jaiswal, who makes no mistake!. 156/8

3.4 to Aasif Sheikh, edged and taken! Avesh breaks through! Hard length, and this follows the batter outside leg. Aasif has a swing at it anyway but all he manages is a feather through to Jitesh!. 29/1 16.6 to Sompal Kami, what a catch at long on! Full toss on off stump and Kami, perhaps expecting another length delivery, is caught by surprise. Has a mow at it but does not get the timing he is after. The ball lobs up towards long on, where Sai Kishore comes tearing in, dives forward and snaffles up an excellent catch!. 156/7 18.6 to S Lamichhane, holes out to long on! Well-disguised slower ball outside off that Lamichhane does not quite pick. He has an agricultural hack at it and mistimes it completely. Sai Kishore runs in and completes a regulation catch!. 173/9

8.5 to K Bhurtel, first T20I wicket for Sai Kishore! Length delivery on off stump. Bhurtel takes a step across his stumps and looks to paddle it fine. Does not get it fine enough, though, and cannot control it either. The ball spoons towards Avesh at short fine, who lunges forward and gobbles it up!. 62/2
4 | 0 | 24 | 3 | 6.00 | 11 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
10.4 to Kushal Malla, taken brilliantly in conjunction at long off and long on! Given a hint of air on middle and leg. This one seems to stick in the surface and hits Malla high on the bat as he looks to go downtown. Cloths it and Tripathi does well at long off to take the catch, understand that he might step onto the fence and relay it to Rinku, who has come running to his right from long on. Excellent awareness by the pair, and this is a massive blow to Nepal's hopes!. 76/3 10.6 to RK Paudel, huge appeal, and that looks absolutely plumb! Wrong'un on a length on off stump. Paudel, like Malla, does not really pick the variation. Plays all over it and gets pinned on the pads, right in front of the stumps. The umpire deliberates over it before raising his finger. India tighten their grip on this game further!. 77/4 14.2 to DS Airee, Bishnoi gets Airee! Is that the game too?! Hard length, into the pitch on off stump. Airee looks to heave it over long on but the ball comes on a lot quicker than he expects. Hits him high on the bat and he spoons it to long on, who completes a simple catch!. 122/5
