2.3 to T Kohler-Cadmore, four first ball, out second ball! Fullish in the channel. TKC comes down the track, looking to go over mid on. The bat face, though, turns on impact and he gets it off the lower half of the bat. Shanks it to mid on, and Abbott was never going to drop that. The Sydney Thunder in some early strife!. 16/2 18.6 to AI Ross, holes out to deep mid wicket! Back of a length outside off. The ball seems to stick in the surface a tad and that meddles with Ross' timing. He swipes at it anyway but ends up splicing it straight to Silk at deep mid wicket!. 141/7 | ||||||||||

1.5 to CT Bancroft, straight up, and Dwarshuis takes it! Goes for the slower ball again and dangles it a little fuller on leg stump. Bancroft does not pick it but decides to go through with his swing anyway. Gets lots of elevation but not enough distance as Dwarshuis does the rest at mid on. Massive wicket for the Sixers, given the form Bancroft has been in!. 7/1 | ||||||||||

5.6 to O Davies, feathered through to the keeper! Dwarshuis has a wicket in his 100th game for the Sixers! Back of a length, in the channel just outside off. Davies tries to play too square and in that pursuit, nicks it through to Philippe. Was too close to the stumps to be playing that stroke, and Davies has now found that out the hard way!. 49/3 | ||||||||||

7.2 to AD Hales, Hales perishes too! Back of a length delivery outside off. Hales skips down the track and throws his hands at it looking at the width. Gets decent contact but cannot keep his stroke down, nor can he clear Patterson completely at deep point. Patterson judges it to perfection and dives forward to complete a smart, low catch. The Thunder in plenty of bother now!. 53/4 15.6 to DR Sams, excellent catch by Vince at long off! Slower delivery that lands right in the slot outside off. Sams' eyes light up and he smashes it. Hits it too flat, though, and in the general direction of Vince. He picks up the trajectory early, dives forward to his left and snares a sharp chance! Vital wicket at this stage of the innings for the Sixers!. 123/5 17.5 to N McAndrew, McAndrew falls! In the slot on leg stump. McAndrew opens up his stance and has a mighty swing at it. Gets decent contact but not enough to clear Silk at deep mid wicket, who first takes the overhead catch, lobs it up into the air, steps outside the rope and comes back in to complete the catch. Silk is so good at fielding that he made this look very routine!. 131/6 | ||||||||||
